Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Tallies two assists Thursday
Crosby dished out two assists, including one on the power play, and recorded two hits in Thursday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Crosby picked up a secondary helper on Erik Karlsson's opening goal before setting up Evgeni Malkin for a power-play score in his return to the lineup. With the pair of apples, Crosby is up to 25 assists, 49 points, 100 shots on net and 37 hits through 42 games this season. Sid the Kid hasn't shown any signs of aging over his eight-game point streak, during which he has five goals and 14 points. The 38-year-old center is only set to benefit further with Malkin's return to the lineup, which should help Crosby produce more consistently with the man advantage moving forward. He remains on pace to finish the season with 90-plus points for the fourth consecutive year.

Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Plates pair of helpers in win
Rakell distributed two assists and placed four shots on net in Thursday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Rakell chipped in on goals scored by Erik Karlsson on Connor Dewar for Pittsburgh's first two tallies of Thursday's contest. With the pair of helpers, Rakell is up to 11 assists, 17 points, 63 shots on net, 32 hits and 21 blocks through 22 games this season. The 32-year-old forward has built up a three-game point streak, which is the longest since his return from a hand injury in mid-December. While the aforementioned injury will likely keep him from replicating the career year he had a season ago, he remains a cash cow for steady all-around production, as he is averaging nearly a point, three shots on goal, one-and-a-half hits and a block per game when healthy. His role on Pittsburgh's top line should give him a strong chance to reach the 45-point mark, which would salvage a season riddled with an injury and give him solid fantasy value in standard formats moving forward.

Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Grabs two points Thursday
Dewar tallied a goal, recorded an assist and served two PIM in Thursday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Dewar posted his first multi-point game of the season Thursday in an effort highlighted by his goal early in the second period. Following his two-point night, the 26-year-old forward has eight goals, eight assists, 65 shots on net and 76 hits through 42 games this season. He currently has a three-game point streak, his longest run of the season. Unlike a majority of fourth-line players, Dewar has provided relatively consistent offense throughout the course of the season to supplement his solid category coverage. His first full season with the Penguins has been a success thus far, as he sits just three points shy of tying his career-high total. While he looks to add onto his point streak, he has solid value in deep fantasy leagues that value category coverage due to his ability to check multiple boxes statistically.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Two-point effort in win
Stankoven produced a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
The 22-year-old center extended his goal streak to three games when he finished a two-on-nothing break in the second period, before he helped set up a Jackson Blake tally in the third. Stankoven's scoring surge comes on the heels of an 11-game goal drought in which he'd managed just three assists, and on the season he's delivered nine goals and 21 points in 44 contests.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Tallies goal Thursday
Hyman scored a goal in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Jets.
Hyman has been a solid contibutor offensively, and even though he hasn't been as good as Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl, Hyman remains a valuable fantasy option in all formats. His scoring numbers are eye-popping, as he has recorded 11 goals and 17 points across his last 14 contests.
-
Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Racks up two more points
McDavid notched an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Jets.
McDavid recorded a third consecutive multi-point performance, and his impressive point streak is now up to 17 games -- the last time he failed to crack the scoresheet was the 1-0 loss to the Wild on Dec. 2. The star playmaker has racked up points in all but six of his 44 games this season, and he's on pace the clear the 140-point threshold -- a feat he's achieved once in his career.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Finds twine in return
Malkin scored a power-play goal on four shots and served two PIM in Thursday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.
Malkin ripped a one-timer to score on a power play in his return from an upper-body injury, which kept him sidelined for 15 games. With his effort in the triumphant return, the 20-year NHL veteran has nine goals, 30 points and 70 shots on net through 27 games this season. While the Penguins had their ups and downs without Malkin in the lineup, his return serves as an immediate boost to their lineup. Dating back to the games prior to his injury, the 39-year-old has a three-game point streak, and he has failed to find the scoresheet just seven times when healthy this season. While he slotted into Thursday's lineup as the second-line left winger, he will likely be eased back into his regular role up the center of the ice over the next few games. If Malkin ended up on fantasy waivers due to his injury, he is a priority add in all league formats, as he is on pace for 70-plus points this season.

Ryan O'Reilly C | NSH
Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Pots shortie in SO win
O'Reilly scored a shorthanded goal in Thursday's 2-1 shootout win over the Islanders.
O'Reilly continues to stand out as one of the most consistent players for the Predators, and he's tallied points in 12 of his last 15 games. Over that span, O'Reilly has notched 16 points (four goals, 12 helpers) with 28 shots on goal, 12 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating. He should continue to have tons of opportunity to produce as a player who's present in power-play, even-strength and penalty-killing situations.

Sean Monahan C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Provides pair of helpers
Monahan notched two assists in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Monahan has three points over two games since he returned from an undisclosed injury. The rest during his four-game absence has likely helped fuel his uptick in production after he battled a nagging injury. The 31-year-old center is now at 22 points, 70 shots on net, 25 hits and a minus-3 rating through 39 contests in 2025-26.

Kent Johnson C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Finds twine in loss
Johnson scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights.
Johnson ended a seven-game point drought with the tally. The 23-year-old has moved around the lineup lately, but he was on the second line with 16:41 of ice time Thursday, his highest total since Nov. 26 versus the Maple Leafs. Johnson has fallen far short of expectations created from his 24-goal, 57-point 2024-25 campaign, earning just four goals, eight assists, 63 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating through 42 outings this season. He's shooting just 6.3 percent in 2025-26 compared to 19.5 percent last year -- once he can find a middle ground, he should be a much more consistent scorer.
