Penguins' Ville Koivunen: Earns three points Saturday
Koivunen scored twice and added an assist in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-1 win over Springfield in Game 5 on Saturday.

Tristan Broz C | PIT
Penguins' Tristan Broz: Two of each in AHL win
Broz scored twice and added two assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-1 win over Springfield in Game 5 on Saturday.
Broz picked a good time for his second multi-point effort of the postseason, sending WBS through to the Eastern Conference Finals with this win. He's earned three goals, six assists and a plus-4 rating over nine playoff contests. Broz should continue to offer scoring upside for the minor-league club heading into the next round.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Tending twine Saturday
Dobes will guard the road goal in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Hurricanes on Saturday, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.
Dobes posted a 26-save effort to get the win in Game 1 on Thursday. The Hurricanes are likely to bounce back after shaking off the rust following a long break between rounds, but Dobes has largely delivered good results all postseason long. He has allowed two goals or fewer in his last two starts and in eight of his 15 playoff games so far.

Scott Sabourin RW | TB
Lightning's Scott Sabourin: Inks two-way deal
Sabourin signed a one-year, two-way contract with Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Sabourin had a goal, five points, 89 PIM and 63 hits in 26 regular-season appearances with Tampa Bay in 2025-26. He also had six goals, eight points and 22 PIM in 24 outings with AHL Syracuse in the 2025-26 regular season. The 33-year-old will compete for an Opening Night roster spot with the Lightning during training camp, but it wouldn't be surprising if he starts the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.

Frederik Andersen G | CAR
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Set to start Game 2
Andersen is expected to protect the home net in Game 2 against Montreal on Saturday, per Walt Ruff and Peter Dewar of the Hurricanes' official site.
Andersen is coming off a 16-save effort in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Canadiens in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. After allowing only 10 goals in the first two rounds of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, he surrendered five to Montreal in Thursday's defeat. Andersen has an 8-1 record with two shutouts, a 1.51 GAA and a .932 save percentage through nine appearances this postseason.

Ross Colton C | COL
Avalanche's Ross Colton: Nets lone goal in loss
Colton scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Colton opened the scoring at 16:59 of the first period, but he was the only Avalanche skater to solve Carter Hart. With two goals and three assists over his last seven games, Colton has done well to keep his place in the lineup after starting the postseason as a healthy scratch. That stretch accounts for all of his offense in nine playoff outings, to go with 18 shots on net, 32 hits and an even plus-minus rating. He continues to fill a bottom-six role.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Comes up short again in Game 2
Wedgewood allowed two goals on 24 shots in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The third goal was an empty-netter.
Wedgewood was unable to get a 1-0 lead across the finish line in the third period. He allowed the two goals in a span of 2:07 in the middle of the frame, and the Avalanche's offense couldn't bail him out. Prior to this series, Wedgewood hadn't lost consecutive games in regulation since Jan. 4-6. He's stopped 46 of 51 shots against Vegas so far. It's unclear if head coach Jared Bednar is planning on a goaltending change for Game 3 in Vegas on Sunday, but Wedgewood has been decent despite the results going against him.

Pavel Dorofeyev RW | LV
Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Dishes two assists
Dorofeyev notched two assists and two shots on goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Dorofeyev is usually the finisher for the Golden Knights, but he took a playmaking turn to help grind out this win. He assisted on goals by Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev, which flipped a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead in the middle of the third period. Dorofeyev has six goals and three helpers during his six-game point streak, and he's up to 14 points (10 tallies, four assists) with 37 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 14 outings this postseason.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: One of each in Game 2 win
Eichel scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, blocked two shots, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Friday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.
Eichel got the Golden Knights on the board at 9:15 of the third period and then set up Ivan Barbashev for the go-ahead goal at 11:22. The tally was just the second of the playoffs for Eichel. What he's lacked in finishing, he's made up for in playmaking with 16 helpers. The star center has added 40 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, 10 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 14 playoff games in his usual top-line role.
