Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: Dealing with illness
Sissons missed Friday's game versus the Devils due to an illness, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Sissons was a late scratch, and it's because of a bug that's going around the Vegas locker room. With the team on a five-game road trip, more surprise absences could pop up. Sissons can be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Tristen Nielsen C | COL
Avalanche's Tristen Nielsen: Up from AHL
Nielsen was recalled from AHL Colorado on Friday.
Nielsen will be available for this weekend's back-to-back on the road versus the Rangers and the Flyers. The 25-year-old has one assist, three shots on goal and nine hits over four NHL appearances so far this year.

William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Moves to LTIR
Karlsson (lower body) was transferred from regular injured reserve to long-term injured reserve on Friday, per PuckPedia.
Karlsson has already missed the required amount of time, so he'll be eligible for activation whenever ready. The 32-year-old center was deemed week-to-week in mid-November, and there's been no update on his status since then. This move will free up some cap space for the Golden Knights.

Sissons (undisclosed) won't play Friday versus the Devils, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Tyson Kozak C | BUF
Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Dealing with injury
Kozak is out of the lineup Friday versus the Jets and is dealing with an undisclosed injury, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
This will be Kozak's third straight absence. The 22-year-old will likely return to a bottom-six role once healthy, while Jordan Greenway and Josh Dunne will compete for playing time in Kozak's absence.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Questionable for Saturday
Teravainen is questionable for Saturday's clash against Los Angeles after losing a few teeth when he was struck by a slap shot during Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kings, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Friday.
Teravainen has six goals and 17 points in 27 appearances in 2025-26. If he can't play Saturday, then Landon Slaggert will probably draw into the lineup.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Ready to rock
Granlund (lower body) will return to the lineup Friday versus Washington, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Granlund has played only once in the last 19 games, finding the back of the net in Detroit on Nov. 13. The 33-year-old veteran has three goals and nine points in nine games this season. He is slated to slot in on the third line with Frank Vatrano and Ryan Strome.

Andrew Copp C | DET
Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Produces two helpers
Copp logged two assists and three shots on goal in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Copp snapped a four-game point drought with the effort. He has six helpers over his last 14 contests, but he hasn't scored since Oct. 11 versus the Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old is up to 11 points, 32 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 17 hits and a minus-12 rating over 28 appearances, primarily in a middle-six role this season. Without more goals, it's tough to consider Copp for fantasy purposes.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Scores power-play goal
Larkin scored a power-play goal on six shots in Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Larkin's point streak is up to six games, consisting of three goals and four assists. He's logged two power-play points in that span -- prior to the streak, he went 12 contests without contributing to the man advantage. The 29-year-old center is up to 15 goals, 31 points, 94 shots on net, 17 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-9 rating through 28 appearances this season.

Cole Sillinger C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Helpers in consecutive contests
Sillinger notched an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 6-5 shootout win over the Red Wings.
Sillinger is stuck in a 16-game goal drought, but he's earned six assists in that span, including one in each of his last two outings. The 22-year-old is playing on the second line and second power-play unit, so he should continue to get chances to contribute. For the season, he's up to 11 points, 47 shots on net, 30 hits, 12 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-6 rating in 26 appearances.
