  • Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI

Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Tickles twine in overtime loss

Palmieri scored a goal in Tuesday's 7-6 overtime loss to the Predators.

Palmieri gave the Islanders their fourth lead of the game, a 5-4 margin with 4:39 left in the third period, but it wasn't enough. The winger has four goals and three assists over his last 11 outings, though two of those games have been multi-point efforts. Palmieri has largely struggled to string good games together lately. Still, he's put up 24 goals, 48 points, 158 shots on net, 52 hits, 41 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 77 outings this season.

  • Noel Acciari C | PIT

Penguins' Noel Acciari: Plucks apple in win

Acciari logged an assist, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.

The helper snapped a seven-game point drought for Acciari. The 33-year-old forward is up to 12 points, 75 shots on net, 180 hits, 100 blocked shots and a minus-25 rating over 79 contests. That's a career high in games played, but he hasn't been able to match his success from some earlier seasons, as he's set to miss the 20-point mark for the eighth time in his 10 NHL campaigns.

  • Oilers' Trent Frederic: Remains out Wednesday

Frederic (ankle) is slated to miss Wednesday's game against St. Louis, per Tom Gazzola of Edmonton Sports Talk.

It will be Frederic's second straight game on the shelf. He has eight goals, 15 points, 44 PIM and 157 hits in 58 appearances between Boston and Edmonton this campaign. The Oilers have only 11 forwards and six defensemen who are healthy, so Edmonton would have to dress just 19 players unless they recall someone from the minors.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Power-play goal in blowout win

Crosby scored a power-play goal on six shots in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.

Crosby has racked up 12 goals and nine assists over 14 games since March 9. The 37-year-old just won't stop, and his goal Tuesday was ultimately all the Penguins needed in a lopsided win avenging their loss in Chicago on Sunday. He's now at 31 goals, 87 points (25 on the power play), 219 shots on net, 66 hits and a minus-21 rating across 77 appearances this season. This is the fourth time in his career he's scored at least eight game-winners in a campaign.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Won't play against St. Louis

Draisaitl (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against St. Louis, Ryan Rishaug of TSN reports.

Draisaitl will be unavailable for a third consecutive game, and he remains day-to-day. Head coach Kris Knoblauch said Wednesday that he expects that Draisaitl will be back by the end of the regular season, but he could miss up to another week, which means that he may not get much time back on the ice before the start of the playoffs.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Set to miss out Wednesday

Nugent-Hopkins is dealing with an illness and is doubtful against St. Louis on Wednesday, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Nugent-Hopkins' pending absence will not only force the Oilers to play a man short Wednesday but also leaves the team without its top three centers as Connor McDavid (lower body) and Leon Draisaitl (undisclosed) remain sidelined. The 31-year-old Nugent-Hopkins hasn't exactly excelled without the aforementioned superstar duo, going seven games without a goal and adding just one assist over that stretch.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Out Wednesday

McDavid (lower body) isn't expected to play Wednesday versus St. Louis, per Ryan Rishaug of TSN.

McDavid is still expected to be back before the end of the regular season, though. He has 26 goals and 90 points in 63 appearances this season. His next opportunity to return will be Friday versus San Jose.

  • Jets' Rasmus Kupari: Unavailable for Thursday

Kupari (concussion) will travel with the Jets to Dallas, but he isn't expected to play against the Stars on Thursday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

Kupari hasn't been in the lineup since March 25. He has five goals and eight points in 59 appearances in 2024-25. Kupari will likely serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's ready to return.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Keeps point streak alive

Suzuki recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Suzuki closed out the scoring for the Canadiens with an empty-netter in the final stages of the third period, and he also assisted on Cole Caufield's goal in the second frame. This was Suzuki's 10th goal in 19 appearances since the beginning of March, a span in which he's racked up 26 total points and a plus-12 rating. Furthermore, he also extended his point streak to six outings, a span in which he's recorded five multi-point contests and 12 total points.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Ends goal drought

Larkin scored a goal and took three shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Montreal.

Larkin snapped an eight-game goal drought with a tip-in midway through the first period, and that was his 29th goal of the campaign. The 28-year-old playmaker has been a model of consistency for Detroit in recent years, and this goal allowed him to reach the 65-point plateau for the fourth consecutive season. Larkin has 29 goals, 36 assists, 227 shots, 41 hits and 28 blocked shots across 77 appearances in 2024-25.
