  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Manages power-play assist

Zegras posted a power-play assist in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Utah.

Zegras set up a Mason McTavish tally in the third period. The 23-year-old Zegras has earned an assist in three straight games, though this was his first power-play contribution since Nov. 15 versus the Red Wings. The creative forward is at 20 points (two on the power play), 75 shots on net, 36 hits and a minus-9 rating through 40 appearances this season. He's productive currently, and he has the talent to help fantasy managers over the final month-plus of the campaign.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Buries power-play goal

McTavish scored a power-play goal on two shots, added five hits and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Utah.

McTavish tied the game at 2-2 in the third period, but Dylan Guenther's response would give Utah the win. The 22-year-old McTavish is having an excellent March with four goals and three assists, including three power-play points, over seven games this month. For the season, the center is up to 18 tallies -- one shy of his career high -- and 38 points (11 on the power play) through 59 appearances. He's added 123 shots on net, 56 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-2 rating while holding down a middle-six role.

  • Hockey Club's Barrett Hayton: Notches assist in win

Hayton provided an assist and six shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Hayton stayed hot with his sixth point (two goals, four assists) over his last six contests. The 24-year-old center helped out on an Alex Kerfoot tally in the second period, which briefly put Utah ahead 2-0. Hayton is now at 38 points, 129 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 65 appearances. He's been streaky at times, but his offense recently makes him a player to at least keep an eye on for fantasy managers. He's three goals away from hitting 20 for the first time, and he's also five points shy of matching his career-best total from 2022-23.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Adds power-play helper in win

Keller notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Keller helped out on Dylan Guenther's game-winning tally in the third period. Over the last 11 contests, Keller has racked up five goals and 12 assists, getting on the scoresheet in 10 of those games. Utah's leading scorer is up to 74 points, including a career-high 31 with the man advantage, through 64 appearances. He's two points shy of matching his total from 2023-24 and just 12 back of equaling his career high from 2022-23.

  • Hockey Club's Alex Kerfoot: Nets goal in win

Kerfoot scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

Kerfoot ended a 13-game goal drought with his second-period tally. The 30-year-old forward has earned two points over four contests since he signed a one-year contract extension last Wednesday to stay with Utah for 2025-26. He's up to eight goals, 18 points, 82 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 40 hits and a minus-10 rating over 65 appearances. Kerfoot can play anywhere in the lineup, but he has been on the second line in recent contests.

  • Jack McBain C | UTA

Hockey Club's Jack McBain: Tallies opening goal

McBain scored a goal, added five hits and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Ducks.

McBain snapped an eight-game goal drought with the opening tally at 11:03 of the first period. The 25-year-old forward has served on a checking line with Lawson Crouse and Josh Doan recently, but all three players can chip in a bit of offense as well. McBain has three points over his last four outings and a total of 20 points, 69 shots on net, 226 hits, 41 blocked shots, 61 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 65 appearances this season.

  • Kevin Rooney C | UTA

Flames' Kevin Rooney: Logs shorthanded helper

Rooney notched a shorthanded assist and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Rooney has two helpers over his last four outings. The 31-year-old center could see more ice time in the near term if Mikael Backlund (upper body) misses time after exiting early Wednesday. It's also possible the Flames turn to other forwards to fill the gap rather than let Rooney see more than fourth-line minutes. For the season, Rooney has seven points, 39 shots on net, 83 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 53 appearances.

  • Nazem Kadri C | COL

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Goal, assist in shootout loss

Kadri scored a goal on seven shots, added a power-play assist and logged two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Kadri had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two contests. The 34-year-old center has five points across six games in March as he continues to lead by example on the top line. For the season, Kadri is at 23 goals, 48 points, 218 shots on net, 47 hits, 63 PIM and a minus-18 rating across 64 outings.

  • Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Makes impact on special teams

Huberdeau scored two goals, one on the power play and the other shorthanded, in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Huberdeau's tallies were separated by 2:03, flipping a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead for the Flames. The 31-year-old winger had been limited to three assists over his last six outings, though he had a six-game point streak prior to that. Huberdeau has had a bit of a bounce-back year with 24 goals, 48 points (17 on the power play, four shorthanded), 121 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating across 64 appearances this season.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Canucks' Pius Suter: Opens scoring Wednesday

Suter scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Flames.

Suter ended a four-game goal drought with the opening tally in this contest. During that stretch, he was limited to one assist and five shots on net. The 28-year-old has been bounced around the lineup with head coach Rick Tocchet's line shuffling of late, but Suter was in his usual third-line spot Wednesday. The Swiss forward has reached the 30-point mark for the second time in his career with 17 goals and 13 assists, as well as 98 shots on net and a plus-2 rating, over 64 outings this season.
