Dylan McIlrath D | WAS
Capitals' Dylan McIlrath: Fights in 100th career game
McIlrath had five PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canadiens.
McIlrath skated in his 100th NHL contest, and he celebrated the occasion with a second-period bout against Arber Xhekaj. McIlrath has played in four of the Capitals' last eight games, which is actually an increase in usage for him as the team has had to navigate some short-term absences. He's still looking for his first point of the season while adding two shots on net, 10 PIM, 15 hits and five blocked shots over eight outings.

Jamie Drysdale D | PHI
Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Activated off IR
Drysdale (upper body) was activated off injured reserve Wednesday, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
After participating in the morning skate as part of the second pairing, Drysdale will return from a three-game absence against Buffalo on Wednesday. The 23-year-old blueliner will look to pick up where he left off after earning eight points over his last 16 games. He has three goals, 15 assists, 45 shots on net and 41 blocked shots through 41 outings this season.

Rasmus Andersson D | LV
Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Reaches 10-goal mark
Andersson scored a power-play goal on three shots, added three hits, logged five PIM and went minus-3 in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Andersson had a busy second period, fighting Boone Jenner midway through the frame before scoring his goal after serving his penalty. This was Andersson's 10th goal of the season, three of which have come over the last seven contests. The defenseman is at 29 points (10 on the power play), 110 shots on net, 87 blocked shots, 53 PIM and 28 hits through 46 outings this season, which gives him a chance to push for a 50-point campaign.

Jake Christiansen D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jake Christiansen: Grabs helper in win
Christiansen notched an assist and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flames.
Christiansen had been scratched for the previous three games. The absences of Damon Severson (illness) and Denton Mateychuk (upper body) opened the door for Christiansen to get back in on the third pairing, though it's likely to be a short-term bump in playing time. With Egor Zamula jumping into a bottom-four role immediately, Christiansen's playing time will probably remain low. Christiansen has two helpers, 18 shots on net, 18 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 27 outings this season.

Dante Fabbro D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Tallies in Tuesday's win
Fabbro scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flames.
Fabbro went a month between points, posting a minus-7 rating, 20 hits, 17 blocked shots and 10 shots on net during a 13-game drought. The 27-year-old defenseman saw an increased role for the second contest in a row as he helps the Blue Jackets deal with the absences of Denton Mateychuk (upper body) and Damon Severson (illness). Fabbro has just seven points with 46 shots on net, 41 hits, 78 blocks and a minus-16 rating across 46 appearances this season.

Rasmus Sandin D | WAS
Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Three helpers in OT win
Sandin notched three assists in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over Montreal.
With the Capitals down 2-0 in the third period, the 25-year-old blueliner got to work, helping to set up a pair of Ethen Frank tallies to tie things up before having a hand in Connor McMichael's OT winner. Sandin snapped a six-game point drought with the performance, and he saw a season-high 24:36 TOI with Jakob Chychrun (illness) unavailable. On the season, Sandin has two goals and 16 points in 41 contests.

Michael Kesselring D | BUF
Sabres' Michael Kesselring: Won't play Wednesday
Kesselring (ankle) has been activated from injured reserve, but he won't play against Philadelphia on Wednesday, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
Kesselring is available to play if there's an emergency, and it's possible that he could draw back into the lineup for Thursday's matchup against Montreal. He has missed the last five games after aggravating his high-ankle sprain from November on Dec. 31 against Dallas.
-
Zac Jones D | BUF
Sabres' Zac Jones: Heads back to minors
Jones was loaned to AHL Rochester on Wednesday.
After serving as a healthy scratch for the Sabres over the team's last two contests, Jones will return to the AHL ahead of Rochester's home game Wednesday. Despite being called up by Buffalo on multiple occasions this season, the 25-year-old blueliner still leads the Americans in points with 32 across 28 games. While his first taste of NHL action this season has yet to arrive, the Sabres have shown interest in giving Jones a shot, which could lead to another call-up in the near future.

Roman Josi D | NSH
Predators' Roman Josi: Plays hero in OT win
Josi scored two goals, including the overtime winner, placed three shots on net and recorded two blocks in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over Edmonton.
Josi willed the Predators back into Tuesday's contest with the game-tying goal in the second period. When the extra period rolled around, he stole the puck from Edmonton goalie Tristan Jarry, who left the crease to knock away a pass. Josi received a feed from Brady Skjei seconds later that he buried for the OT winner. Tuesday's pair of twine finders brings Josi up to eight goals, 23 points, 88 shots on net and 51 blocks through 34 games this season. While his season totals don't jump off the page as much as they have in seasons past, the Swiss blueliner has five points in his last two games and six goals in his past 11 outings. His scoring potential is undeniable, as he's well on the pace to reach double-digit goals for the 11th time in his career. Look for Nashville's captain to push for another 50-point campaign.

Radko Gudas D | ANA
Ducks' Radko Gudas: Manages helper in win
Gudas posted an assist, four hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Stars.
Gudas helped out on Chris Kreider's opening goal in the second period. The 35-year-old Gudas had gone seven games without a point and missed two contests in that span due to an illness. The defenseman is at nine points, 41 shots on net, 116 hits, 58 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 33 appearances. He's on pace to finish in the 16-18 point range that he's landed in for each of the last four years.
