  • Cody Ceci D | LA

Kings' Cody Ceci: Bags apple Thursday

Ceci notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Sharks.

Ceci has earned three assists and a plus-1 rating over his last six games. The 31-year-old defenseman remains in a bottom-four role and has exceeded 20 minutes of ice time just twice all season. He's produced a goal, five assists, 19 shots on net, 10 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 21 appearances. Ceci should push for the 20-point mark again, but his relatively modest overall production doesn't make him a particularly strong fantasy blueliner.

  • Sharks' Dmitry Orlov: Nabs assist in shootout win

Orlov logged an assist, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the Kings.

Orlov hasn't been as consistent on offense in November, picking up three assists over 10 appearances this month. The 34-year-old is still in a top-four role and on the second power-play unit, so he's in a good position to provide decent production in fantasy. Overall, he has 12 helpers, 28 shots on net, 29 hits, 29 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 21 contests.

  • Canadiens' Mike Matheson: Two points against Caps

Matheson delivered a goal and an assist in Thursday's 8-4 loss to Washington.

It was Matheson's first multi-point performance since Oct. 9, the second game of the season. The veteran blueliner has been able to stay reasonably productive to begin 2025-26 despite a lack of significant power-play time due to the offseason addition of Noah Dobson. Through 20 games, Matheson has contributed four goals and 12 points -- all at even strength -- while adding 44 blocked shots, 25 shots on net, 15 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-9 rating.

  • Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Unable to return

Matinpalo suffered an undisclosed injury in the third period Thursday and was unable to return, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Matinpalo was hit hard into the boards by the Ducks' Radko Gudas. There was no update after the game from head coach Travis Green. If Matinpalo is unable to play Saturday in San Jose, look for Lassi Thomson to enter the lineup.

  • Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Scores game-winner Thursday

Sanheim scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues. He also added four shots on goal and two blocked shots.

The four shots were a season-high mark for the 29-year-old blueliner, who came through at the 3:51 mark of extra time to give the Flyers a comeback win. This was Sanheim's first goal since the second game of the season, a 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes on Oct. 11.

  • Justin Faulk D | DET

Blues' Justin Faulk: Pots two goals Thursday

Faulk scored two goals, including one on the power play, while adding three shots on goal, two hits and three blocked shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers.

Faulk found the back of the net twice in the first period, and the 33-year-old defenseman is now up to six goals on the season. Five of those goals have come since the beginning of November, a span during which he's recorded eight total points across 10 appearances.

  • Adam Fox D | NYR

Rangers' Adam Fox: Adds pair of helpers

Fox logged two power-play assists, two shots on net, two blocked shots and a minus-4 rating in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche.

Fox has earned seven helpers, including four on the power play, over his last six games. The 27-year-old blueliner helped out on both of J.T. Miller's goals in this contest. Fox is up to three goals, 15 helpers, six power-play points, 46 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 13 hits, 10 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 22 appearances this season. He's not a highly physical defenseman, but Fox's offense is right in line with previous seasons, giving him a chance to challenge for the 70-point mark he fell short of last year.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Two more helpers Thursday

Carlson delivered two assists in Thursday's 8-4 win over Montreal.

The 35-year-old blueliner has gotten onto the scoresheet in seven of his last eight games with four multi-point performances, erupting for two goals and 12 points during that heater. Carlson hasn't maintained a point-a-game pace for a full season since 2019-20, when he amassed 75 points (15 goals, 60 assists) in 69 regular-season contests, but he's very nearly back at that level to kick off 2025-26 with four goals and 19 points in 20 games.

  • Kraken's Brandon Montour: Two helpers in comeback win

Montour dished out two assists, placed three shots on net, and recorded a block in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Montour played a hand in the goals that began and completed Seattle's third-period comeback. His pair of apples ended a five-game point drought and doubled his offensive output in the month of November. Overall, the 31-year-old blueliner has eight assists, 11 points, 40 shots on goal and 25 blocks through 16 games this season. Montour's first full season in Seattle was the second-best offensive season of his career, and year two has him on a point pace to surpass the 41 points he put together last year. His inconsistencies finding the scoresheet of late are noteworthy, but he displayed a very consistent start to the season with eight points in seven appearances, meaning Thursday's helpers could spark another point run for him. With solid category coverage, Montour has solid fantasy value in most formats.

  • Cale Makar D | COL

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Puts up three points in win

Makar scored twice on nine shots, added an assist, blocked four shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.

Makar's point streak is up to six games, but this was his first multi-point effort since Nov. 9 versus the Canucks. The blueliner has picked up four goals and six assists during his streak. For the season, Makar is up to a stellar eight goals, 28 points, 58 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a plus-20 rating through 20 appearances. Last year's 30-goal, 92-point regular season was the best of his career, but he's on pace to best those numbers at the quarter mark in 2025-26.
