Anthony Stolarz G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Sent down for conditioning
Stolarz (upper body) was reassigned to AHL Toronto on a conditioning assignment Tuesday.
Assuming the team wants to get Stolarz into at least one minor-league contest, he figures to miss the Maple Leafs' next two contests, as the Marlies don't play until Friday's clash with AHL Springfield. The New Jersey native has been on the shelf since Nov. 11 against the Bruins due to his upper-body injury, a stretch of 32 games on injured reserve. Once cleared to play, Stolarz will likely split the workload, at least to start, with Joseph Woll, while Dennis Hildeby figures to be sent back to the minors.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Picks up win over Caps
Wedgewood stopped 22 shots in Monday's 5-2 win over Washington.
The Avs never trailed in the game as they outshot the visitors 44-24, making life relatively easy for Wedgewood. It was his first start since Jan. 8, as he may be ceding the top spot in the crease back to Mackenzie Blackwood, but through five outings this month, Wedgewood's delivered a 3-2-0 record with a stout 2.44 GAA and .911 save percentage.

Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Buried by Avs
Lindgren made 39 saves in Monday's 5-2 loss to Colorado.
The Capitals were outshot 44-24 on the afternoon, but Lindgren did his best to keep things close until the Avs finally pulled away in the third period. The veteran netminder has given up at least three goals in six straight starts dating back to Dec. 16, going 2-3-1 over that stretch with a 3.81 GAA and an .881 save percentage.

Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Pulled after two periods
Woll allowed five goals on 29 shots in two periods before being replaced by Dennis Hildeby to start the third period of a 6-3 loss to Minnesota.
Minnesota was all over Toronto, and they drove the score up to 5-1 before Woll was relieved. He's had a rough couple of games, giving up 11 goals in two losses (0-1-1). Since Christmas, Woll has gone 5-1-2 in nine starts, but he has allowed four or more goals in five of those starts. It may be a function of fatigue given the heavy workload with Anthony Stolarz (upper body) out, but he's still winning.

Filip Gustavsson G | MIN
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Two wins in a row
Gustavsson made 27 saves on 30 shots in a 6-3 win over Toronto on Monday.
Gustavsson has two wins in a row on the road (Toronto and Buffalo), but with seven goals allowed. He allowed seven goals in his two starts before that (0-1-1). In his nine games before that, Gustavsson had allowed three or more goals just twice in nine starts (7-1-1). It's too soon to think it's a trend, but it bears attention. Jesper Wallstadt is waiting in the wings, and the Wild won't be slow to tap him.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Short stick in tight contest
Luukkonen made 26 saves on 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to Carolina on Monday.
It was a tight contest; the game was tied 1-1 until early in the third period. Luukkonen has lost two straight games to the hands of the Wild and Hurricanes, but since Christmas, he is 5-2-1 in eight starts (21 goals allowed). Luukkonen is 10-7-2 with a 2.69 GAA and .903 save percentage in 19 games (18 starts) this season.

Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Among NHL's best in net so far
Bussi made 17 saves on 18 shots in a 2-1 win over the Sabres on Monday.
Bussi improved to 18-3-1 this season. He was especially dazzling mid-way through the second frame when he lunged across the crease to get leather on Tage Thompson's one-timer on a 2-on-0. Bussi has a 2.20 GAA, which puts him into a tie with Devin Cooley of the Flames for second in the NHL among goalies that have played 15 or more games.

Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Set for long-term absence
General manager Kelly McCrimmon said Monday that Hart (lower body) isn't scheduled to be available until after the 2026 Winter Olympics, SinBin.vegas reports.
Hart was placed on injured reserve Thursday due to the lower-body injury he sustained against Columbus on Jan. 8. Adin Hill and Akira Schmid will handle the goaltending duties while Hart is on the shelf. The 27-year-old Hart will seemingly look to be ready when the Golden Knights resume play in Los Angeles on Feb. 25 after the Olympic break.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Set to start at home
Hill will tend the home twine against the Flyers on Monday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Hill's first start after returning from a lower-body injury didn't go too well, as he conceded five goals on 28 shots against Toronto on Thursday, but the Golden Knights provided him with enough offensive support en route to a 6-5 overtime win. The 29-year-old has a favorable matchup Monday against a Flyers club that has lost six straight games (0-5-1).

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Expected to start Monday
Ersson is set to start on the road against Vegas on Monday.
Ersson is struggling, going 0-2-0 while allowing eight goals on 47 shots (.830 save percentage) across his past three appearances. This has also been a rough campaign for him overall -- he's 6-8-4 with a 3.43 GAA and an .855 save percentage in 19 outings. Vegas has won its past seven games to improve to 24-11-12 on the season, and the Golden Knights have scored at least six goals in three of their past four games, so it doesn't look like things are going to get any easier for Ersson on Monday.
