  • Wild's Carson Lambos: Sent down by Minnesota

Lambos was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Friday.

Lambos was called up by the Wild on Thursday, but he didn't appear in the team's 4-3 loss to the Islanders. He'll head back to the minors a day later but will be a candidate to be called back up at some point if Minnesota needs additional depth on the blue line.

  • Flames' Arsenii Sergeev: Recalled by Calgary

Sergeev was recalled from AHL Calgary on Friday.

Sergeev got his first taste of NHL action late last season, and he'll rejoin the Flames ahead of Friday's game against the Kraken. Dustin Wolf has already been named the starter against Seattle, but Sergeev's promotion suggests that Devin Cooley (lower body) may be unavailable as a backup. Across six appearances in the AHL to begin the regular season, Sergeev has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .907 save percentage.

  • Flames' William Stromgren: Called up Friday

Stromgren was recalled from AHL Calgary on Friday.

Stromgren was sent down by the Flames ahead of the regular season, but he'll rejoin the NHL club to provide additional depth while Brennan Othmann (upper body), Jonathan Huberdeau (hip) and Samuel Honzek (lower body) are sidelined. Stromgren made his first three regular-season appearances at the NHL level last year, and he was held scoreless with two shots on goal while averaging 7:17 of ice time.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Defending home crease Friday

Wolf will start Friday's home game against the Kraken, Pat Steinberg of QR Calgary 770 AM reports.

Wolf entered Wednesday's game against the Oilers at the start of the second period after Devin Cooley (lower body) exited the matchup. It's not yet clear whether Cooley will be available to dress as the backup for Friday's matchup, but Wolf will draw his first start since Oct. 15. Across six appearances to begin the regular season, he's gone 1-4-0 with a 4.81 GAA and .839 save percentage.

  • Eeli Tolvanen RW | NYR

Rangers' Eeli Tolvanen: Not practicing Friday

Tolvanen didn't participate in Friday's practice session due to personal reasons, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

Tolvanen also missed last Friday's practice while tending to a personal matter, but his previous absence from practice didn't force him to miss any games. It's not yet clear whether Friday's lack of participation will impact his status for Sunday's game against the Oilers, but a better idea of his availability could come into focus based on whether he's on the ice for the Rangers' morning skate ahead of the game.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Allows four goals in overtime loss

Wallstedt stopped 22 of 26 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Wallstedt suffered his first home defeat of the season after Matthew Schaefer beat him just 33 seconds into overtime. The young netminder entered the contest after winning his last two starts, but this outing matched his season-worst goals-allowed total. Despite the disappointing result, his role in a competitive Wild squad should continue to provide fantasy opportunities, although his save efficiency remains important to monitor. He's enjoying a strong start to the season even if he has the occasional down performance, going 8-2-3 with a 2.14 GAA and a strong .916 save percentage in 13 starts.

  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

Wild's Quinn Hughes: Scores, assists in OT loss

Hughes scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.

Hughes tied the game late in the second period with a backhand goal before earning an assist on Matt Boldy's third-period equalizer. The defenseman continues to drive Minnesota's offense from the blue line, and his four shots highlight his willingness to contribute as a scorer rather than solely as a playmaker. His combination of offensive responsibility, shot generation and power-play involvement supports an elite fantasy ceiling. He has recorded two points in each of his last three games and is up to 20 points (four goals, 16 assists) in just 15 games.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Monster performance Thursday

Schaefer scored two even-strength goals on six shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Schaefer led the Islanders with six shots and recorded his first three-point outing of the season -- and his first multi-point effort since Oct. 13. The star blueliner has failed to crack the scoresheet just three times all season long and is currently riding a six-game point streak, notching eight points (four goals, four assists), 24 shots on goal and three hits over that span while averaging a robust 28:06 TOI/G.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Makes 22 saves in overtime win

Sorokin stopped 22 of 25 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Sorokin allowed one goal in each period of regulation before keeping Minnesota off the scoreboard in the extra frame. His established starting role continues to provide considerable fantasy value, although inconsistent save efficiency can occasionally offset his strong win potential. Even though he's won four of his last five appearances (4-1-0), Sorokin also has a slightly subpar .896 save percentage on 135 shots faced in that span.

  • Blues' Jimmy Snuggerud: Scores seventh goal of season

Snuggerud scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.

Snuggerud tied the game late in the first period with a one-timer, ending St. Louis' scoring drought at nearly 140 minutes since the Blues hadn't found the back of the net since the 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights on Oct. 22. The winger has seven goals this season, including Thursday's tally, and continues to establish himself as an important scoring option for the Blues, especially since he's averaging 2.2 shots on goal per game.
