  • Troy Terry RW | ANA

Ducks' Troy Terry: Deals pair of power-play assists

Terry logged two power-play assists, six shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

Terry had gone three contests without a point entering Thursday. The 28-year-old winger is up to 56 points over 58 outings this season, his highest total in the last three years. He's done that despite missing time due to injuries, and he's yet to score a power-play goal, though he has earned 11 helpers with the man advantage. Terry also has 154 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating while mainly playing in the top six.

  • Frank Vatrano RW | ANA

Ducks' Frank Vatrano: Bends twine in win

Vatrano scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

Vatrano added an insurance tally with 2:28 left in the third period. The 32-year-old has been scratched for six of the Ducks' previous 10 games, including Tuesday, when the team opted to dress eight defensemen. That's not a ringing endorsement of where Vatrano's game is at -- his goal Thursday ended a nine-game drought. He's produced just nine points, 78 shots on net, 83 hits, 40 PIM, 28 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 49 appearances and may be just a part-time player moving forward.

  • Alex Killorn LW | ANA

Ducks' Alex Killorn: Deposits goal in win

Killorn scored a goal on two shots, added five hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

Killorn has earned two goals and assist over five games in April. The 36-year-old is filling a middle-six role and offering steady offense for that assignment. He's up to 14 goals, 31 points, 140 shots on net, 69 hits, 29 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 79 appearances this season.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Opens scoring in win

Carlsson scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

Carlsson has four goals over his last six games, adding 22 shots on net in that span. The 21-year-old center is up to 28 goals, 65 points, 177 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 67 outings in a top-line role. Carlsson has taken a big step forward to be a near point-per-game player in his third NHL campaign, and that bodes well for his future as he's still years away from being in his prime.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Ducks' John Carlson: Earns first career hat trick

Carlson scored three shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

Carlson had an even-strength goal in the first period that stood as the game-winner, and he added two power-play tallies in the third. Remarkably, he never had a hat trick in 1,143 games for the Capitals, but it took him just 13 contests for the Ducks to achieve the feat. The blueliner is up to 14 goals, 58 points, 150 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 68 appearances between the two teams this season, including 12 points since he joined Anaheim.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Bounces back for win Thursday

Dostal allowed one goal on 19 shots in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Sharks.

The Ducks held their ground in the race for the top spot in the Pacific Division while making their in-state rivals' path to the playoffs a lot harder. This performance ended Dostal's four-game losing streak, a span in which he surrendered 18 goals on 108 shots. Through 54 appearances this season, Dostal is up to 30-19-3 with a 3.09 GAA and an .890 save percentage. This is the first time he's reached the 30-win mark, though he has the worst ratios of his career as his quality of play has faded for a couple of extended stretches. The Ducks have a favorable matchup ahead when they host the Canucks on Sunday for the last home game in Anaheim in the regular season.

  • Tyson Gross C | CGY

Flames' Tyson Gross: Nets first NHL goal

Gross scored a goal and added two hits in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche.

Gross was in the lineup because Ryan Strome (illness) was a late scratch. The 23-year-old Gross cashed in a goal to spoil Mackenzie Blackwood's shutout bid with 2:52 left in the third period. Gross put the puck in again after that, but that goal was wiped out for the play being offside. This was his third NHL contest, and he's added three shots on net, three hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating to begin his career. It's unclear if he'll retain a spot in the lineup once Strome and Blake Coleman (personal) are ready to get back in the lineup.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Better showing in loss

Wolf stopped 38 of 40 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche. The third goal was an empty-netter.

The Flames' current road trip started in Colorado, and Wolf was blitzed for four goals on 16 shots in just over half a period in that contest. He put forth a better showing despite another loss in this contest, which was his third straight defeat. He's allowed 12 goals on 90 shots in that span. Wolf is down to 22-28-3 with a 3.07 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 55 appearances. The Flames have four games left this season, including a back-to-back with a road game in Seattle on Saturday followed by Sunday's home contest versus the Mammoth. Look for Wolf and Devin Cooley to split the next two starts.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Zero help from teammates

Greaves made 19 saves in a 5-0 loss to the Sabres on Thursday. He allowed four goals.

Greaves is doing everything he can behind a Blue Jackets squad that has lost seven of their past eight games. The Blue Jackets are two points behind the third-place Flyers, who also lost Thursday. Greaves does his part -- he has a 2.61 GAA and .908 save percentage in 52 games played, and there's no reason to expect that to change the rest of the way.

  • Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog: Opens scoring on power play

Landeskog scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Flames.

Landeskog had gone three games without a point prior to Thursday. This was his first power-play contribution since March 2, when he had a helper with the man advantage versus the Kings. The 33-year-old is up to 13 goals, 34 points (five on the power play), 123 shots on net, 81 hits, 31 blocked shots, 45 PIM and a plus-27 rating through 57 appearances. The Avalanche secured the Presidents' Trophy with Thursday's win, and it's possible Landeskog will be rested if he needs it at some point during the team's last four regular-season contests.
