  • Devin Cooley G | CGY

Flames' Devin Cooley: Holds off Ducks

Cooley stopped 36 of 39 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Ducks.

Cooley allowed at least three goals for the sixth time in his last seven outings, but he did well enough to get the win. The 28-year-old bent a little, allowing two goals in the middle of the third period before settling back in. He's up to 10-9-5 with a 2.63 GAA and a .913 save percentage over 29 appearances. Cooley and Dustin Wolf have mostly alternated turns in goal lately, though neither has a favorable matchup ahead if that pattern holds. The Flames' road trip continues in Dallas on Tuesday, followed by a stop in Colorado on Thursday.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Hits 30 goals for eighth time

Tavares scored a goal and added two assists in a 7-6 overtime loss against the Kings.

The goal came on the power play. It was Tavares' 30th goal of the season -- he has hit that mark eight times in his career. He is on a three-game goal streak (four goals, three assists), and that includes a power-play snipe in each of those games. Tavares has at least one point in seven of his last eight contests (seven goals, six assists).

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Will miss road trip

Hyman (undisclosed) won't play on the Oilers' upcoming three-game road trip, which begins Tuesday versus the Mammoth, Ryan Rishaug of TSN reports.

Hyman could return April 13 versus the Avalanche. He's been battling a nagging injury late in the campaign, and the Oilers are opting to rest him despite not having a playoff spot secured yet. At this point, it doesn't appear the 33-year-old will miss the start of the postseason, but he won't be any help to fantasy managers in their playoff matchups.

  • Beck Malenstyn LW | BUF

Sabres' Beck Malenstyn: Lights lamp Saturday

Malenstyn scored a goal and dished out four hits in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Washington.

Malenstyn found the back of the net just over halfway into the opening period to put the Sabres within one goal. Overall, he is up to seven goals, 14 points, 69 shots on net, 261 hits and 70 blocked shots across 76 games this season. While he has been inconsistent at times offensively this season, the 28-year-old center has notched two goals and five points over his last 13 games. His fantasy value is limited to deep leagues that value banger stats.

  • Matthew Knies LW | TOR

Maple Leafs' Matthew Knies: Big four-point explosion

Knies had two goals and two assists in a 7-6 overtime loss to the Kings on Saturday.

Knies' second goal tied the game 6-6 and forced overtime. The assists were his first in nine games and came on the power play. Knies has five goals, two assists and 12 hits in his last six games. Overall, he has 64 points, including 23 snipes, and 146 hits in 74 games this season.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Grabs two points in loss

Dahlin tallied a goal, distributed an assist and placed three shots on net in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Dahlin recorded his third consecutive multi-point outing in Saturday's clash, as he played a hand in both of Buffalo's tallies in the first period. Overall, he is up to 18 goals, 51 assists, 188 shots on net, 65 hits and 77 blocked shots this season. The 25-year-old blueliner has a solid chance to match or surpass his career high of 73 points across 78 games during the 2022-23 season. He's put together one of the best all-around seasons among defensemen and could end up being a candidate for this year's Norris Trophy. He is an elite option on the fantasy blue line for the remainder of the regular season and beyond.

  • Tom Wilson RW | WAS

Capitals' Tom Wilson: Tallies shorthanded goal

Wilson scored a shorthanded goal in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

Wilson tallied his fourth goal across his last three games with his shorthanded twine finder midway through the third period. With the goal at a man disadvantage, the 32-year-old winger now has 29 goals, 57 points, 144 shots on net, 171 hits and 49 blocked shots across 67 games this season. He's helped keep the Capitals' playoff hopes alive over the last few games and profiles as a strong fantasy option in category-based leagues for the rest of the regular season.

  • Ryan Leonard RW | WAS

Capitals' Ryan Leonard: Pots goal in big win

Leonard tallied a goal, put two shots on net, had two PIM and dished out two hits in Saturday's 6-2 win over Buffalo.

Leonard padded Washington's lead early in Saturday's third period to put the team up 5-2. Overall, the 21-year-old winger is up to 17 goals, 41 points, 140 shots on net, 111 hits and 22 blocked shots through 70 games this season. He actively holds a four-game point streak and has seven goals, 11 points, 32 shots on net and 35 hits over his last 15 games. Leonard has taken a step up this season and should continue to provide fantasy managers with solid category coverage for seasons to come. He is an excellent streaming option for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs.

  • Kings' Samuel Helenius: First goal in 14 games

Helenius scored a goal in Saturday's 7-6 overtime win against the Maple Leafs.

It was Helenius' fifth goal this season, which sets a new career high. It was his first point in nine games and first goal in 14 games (two assists). Helenius is more of a disruptor on the ice than a scorer. He centers the fourth line, and he has five goals, nine points and 133 hits in 47 games this season.

  • Capitals' Pierre-Luc Dubois: Stays hot with two helpers

Dubois supplied two assists in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

Dubois secured his third consecutive multi-point game in Saturday's clash, recording his pair of helpers inside the first six minutes of the contest. He's been scorching as of late with eight points over his last three contests. Overall, the 27-year-old center is up to 17 points, 38 shots on net, 21 hits and 12 blocked shots through 25 appearances this season. When healthy, Dubois provides strong fantasy value and is an excellent streaming option for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs. He should continue to play a top-six role for the Capitals as they try to make a late push for a playoff spot.
