  • Flames' Matthew Coronato: One of each in loss

Coronato scored a goal, supplied an assist and fired four shots on net in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Coronato snapped a nine-game point drought with his pair of points in Tuesday's contest. Overall, the 23-year-old winger is up to 15 goals, 17 assists and 165 shots on net across 66 games this season. The young winger has flashed his strong potential at times this season, with Tuesday's multi-point game being no exception. His shot volume has been strong since the Olympic break, with 28 shots on net over 11 games. He should continue to serve as a top-six winger for the Flames for the foreseeable future, and he remains a solid player to own in dynasty fantasy leagues moving forward.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Set to miss time

Dach will be out for 2-4 weeks as a result of his upper-body injury.

Dach was hurt in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Anaheim. The 2019 No. 3 overall pick's season has been plagued by injuries once again, and he'll now be out of the lineup until at least the end of March. Since Dach is sidelined, Zachary Bolduc, who was a healthy scratch Sunday, will draw back into the lineup Tuesday against the Bruins in a massive divisional game. Dach has posted eight goals, 14 points, 45 shots, 43 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 32 appearances in 2025-26.

  • Morgan Frost C | CGY

Flames' Morgan Frost: Nets opening goal Monday

Frost scored a goal and recorded three shots on net in Monday's 5-2 loss to Detroit.

Frost scored the lone goal of Tuesday's opening period, giving the Flames brief momentum headed into the first intermission. With the twine finder, he is up to 15 goals, 33 points, 112 shots on net, 42 hits and 32 blocked shots across 67 games this season. Since the beginning of March, the 26-year-old center has three goals and six points over nine games. He's seen an uptick in playing time following the departure of Nazem Kadri to Colorado at the trade deadline, and Frost has made the most of his increased role. He should continue to skate as the team's No. 2 center for the time being and holds decent all-around value in deep fantasy leagues that value category coverage.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Won't suit up against San Jose

Draisaitl (lower body) isn't available for Tuesday's home matchup against the Sharks.

The Oilers have yet to offer a timeline for Draisaitl's return, but head coach Kris Knoblauch said Monday that the team doesn't want to aggravate or make the German forward's injury worse. The 30-year-old will continue to be evaluated in the coming days, but at this point, it seems less likely Draisaitl will be available for Thursday's matchup versus Florida as well. Jason Dickinson is expected to slot in as the second-line center while Draisaitl is sidelined.

  • Dominik Shine RW | DET

Red Wings' Dominik Shine: Pots empty netter

Shine tallied an empty-net goal and recorded five PIM in Monday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Shine tied the bow on Tuesday's big win with his empty-net tally late in the third period. The 32-year-old winger is up to two goals, seven shots on net, seven hits and five blocked shots across nine NHL games this season. Patience has paid off for Shine after 10 seasons at the AHL level, as he's making the most of his limited opportunity in Detroit. He'll likely remain with the team while Dylan Larkin (leg) and Andrew Copp (leg) recover from their respective injuries, giving Shine the opportunity to contribute from a bottom-six role.

  • J.T. Compher LW | DET

Red Wings' J.T. Compher: Adds two apples Monday

Compher distributed two assists and recorded two shots on net in Monday's 5-2 win over Calgary.

Compher's two-assist night snapped his seven-game drought without a helper. He did so impressively, getting both assists across a five-minute span in the second period. Overall, the 30-year-old center is up to 14 assists, 23 points, 80 shots on net and 41 blocked shots across 68 games this season. In the absence of Dylan Larkin (leg) and Andrew Copp (leg), Compher is playing his largest role of the season on Detroit's top line and has benefitted from centering Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane. Compher holds solid streaming value in deep fantasy leagues while the Red Wings remain thin at the center position.

  • Alex DeBrincat RW | DET

Red Wings' Alex DeBrincat: Supplies trio of helpers

DeBrincat recorded three assists and fired six shots on net in Monday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

DeBrincat put on a playmaking clinic in Tuesday's second period with three primary assists in just under 12 minutes. The trio of apples brought him up to 36 assists and 69 points across 68 games this season, which is on pace to surpass his career high in both categories. He's also firing the puck at an elite rate with 234 shots on goal this season, which ranks sixth in the NHL. With Dylan Larkin (leg) likely sidelined for another week, DeBrincat should continue to lead Detroit's offense during his current 12-point, nine-game run of play, giving him elite fantasy value moving forward.

  • Maple Leafs' Michael Pezzetta: Optioned to AHL

Pezzetta was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Tuesday.

Pezzetta played in his first two games with the Maple Leafs after being promoted from the minors Thursday. The 28-year-old recorded nine PIM and six hits while averaging 5:06 of ice time during his stint with the big club. The Maple Leafs now have only 12 healthy forwards on their roster after sending Pezzetta to the minors.

  • Henry Thrun D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Henry Thrun: Sent down Tuesday

Thrun was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Tuesday.

Thrun did not draw into the lineup Sunday in Minnesota after being elevated from the minors on an emergency basis. The 25-year-old's return to the AHL could be an indication that Oliver Ekman-Larsson (personal) will be back in action against the Islanders on Tuesday.

  • Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Deposits power-play goal

Seider scored a power-play goal, fired two shots on net, recorded two blocked shots and served two PIM in Monday's 5-2 win over Calgary.

Seider scored Detroit's fourth goal of the second period on a power play to give the Red Wings a two-goal lead. With Tuesday's all-around effort, he is up to nine goals, 47 points, 150 shots on net, 104 hits and 150 blocked shots across 68 games this season. The 24-year-old blueliner has been an incredibly steady contributor for the Wings' offense as of late, with nine points over his last 10 games. He's just three points away from tying his career-best point total of 50, which he recorded across 82 regular-season games during his rookie campaign in 2021-22. He's one of the true blueliners in the league who checks every box statistically, giving him elite fantasy value in all formats for the remainder of the regular season.
