  • Blues' Jake Neighbours: Two assists may snap struggles

Neighbours picked two apples Saturday in a 5-1 victory over the Maple Leafs.

Neighbours has struggled to spark his game since the Olympic break. He had just one assist in 14 games since then, and prior to Saturday. Overall, Neighbours has 14 goals, 14 assists, 72 shots and 132 hits in 59 games this season. Yes, his season has disappointed fans and managers, who thought he'd take the next step forward this season. At least Neighbours has continued to lay guys out through his offensive struggles, but that does little for many managers who took the chance on him.

  • Mammoth's Alex Kerfoot: Tallies twice in win

Kerfoot scored two goals in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

Kerfoot reached the 300-point mark in his career with a helper Thursday versus the Capitals, and he continues to show some skill as a depth scorer. He's earned three goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. For the season, the veteran forward has 10 points, 23 shots on net, 23 hits, 23 PIM, 21 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 26 appearances, mainly featuring in a fourth-line role.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Reaches 20-goal mark

Cooley scored twice on three shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

Cooley's pair of goals came late in the first period. The latter tally was on the power play and stood as the game-winner, his career-best third GWG of the season. Cooley has reached the 20-goal mark in all three years of his career so far, though it took him just 46 contests in 2025-26. He's added 13 helpers, seven power-play points, 88 shots on net, 48 hits and a plus-4 rating. This was his fifth multi-goal effort of the campaign.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Cruises to road win

Vejmelka allowed two goals on 31 shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Kings.

Vejmelka got all the help he needed as the Mammoth put up three goals in the first period. The 29-year-old did his part to play a steady game between the pipes, though the Kings' top line did get to him twice. He's won three of his last five appearances, giving up nine goals on 111 shots in that span. Vejmelka is up to 33-19-3 on the season with a 2.69 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 57 appearances. He should continue to see the bulk of the playing time as the Mammoth battle for positioning in the Western Conference wild-card race. The Mammoth are off until Thursday's game in Seattle, which is a pivotal one in the playoff battle.

Seider logged two assists and five shots on goal in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Flyers.

Seider has six helpers over his last four games. The 24-year-old defenseman's surge has helped him secure a career year with 53 points over 73 outings so far. That includes 23 power-play points, as well as 170 shots on net, 110 hits, 160 blocked shots, 55 PIM and a plus-22 rating. Seider is one goal away from reaching double digits for the first time in his five-year career, and the 60-point threshold is also within striking distance before the end of the season.

  • Red Wings' Mason Appleton: Starts comeback attempt

Appleton scored a goal, added two PIM and logged four hits in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Flyers.

Appleton hadn't scored in 2026 prior to Saturday. He was limited to just two assists in his first 31 games of the calendar year, and those helpers both came against the Predators on March 2. Despite his meager scoring, he's remained in the lineup in a bottom-six role throughout the slump. The 30-year-old is at six goals, 14 points, 62 shots on net, 83 hits, 44 PIM, 28 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 63 appearances. This goal gave DeBrincat four tallies and 11 assists during a nine-game point streak. The surge has the winger up to 37 goals, 78 points, 261 shots on net and a plus-8 rating over 73 outings. DeBrincat will set a career high in points when he next gets on the scoresheet, assuming he doesn't go ice cold to end the campaign.
