  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Scheduled to start in Boston

Kuemper is expected to start on the road Tuesday against the Bruins, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

Anton Forsberg was in goal for Monday's 5-4 overtime win in Columbus, so Kuemper will have a difficult task against a Boston team that is not on the second half of a back-to-back. The Bruins have also won 12 straight games at TD Garden and are 24-8-1 overall on home ice. Kuemper turned in a solid performance against Boston in Los Angeles on Nov. 21, stopping 24 of 26 shots, but the Kings lost that game 2-1 in overtime.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Tending twine Tuesday

Lyon will protect the home net against San Jose on Tuesday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

Lyon has stopped 77 of the 83 shots he has faced during his three-game winning streak. He has been splitting starts with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen lately. Lyon has a 17-8-3 record this campaign with two shutouts, a 2.64 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 30 appearances. San Jose sits 18th in the league with 3.07 goals per game this season.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Patrolling home blue paint

Oettinger will be in goal for Tuesday's home matchup versus the Golden Knights, per Brien Rea of Victory+.

Oettinger's eight-game winning streak was snapped Friday, but it came at the hands of the league's top team, the Avalanche. The 27-year-old netminder has a 25-10-5 record with two shutouts, a 2.70 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 40 appearances in 2025-26. Oettinger allowed four goals on 21 shots in Vegas on Jan. 29, but he was victorious during that game in a 5-4 result in a shootout.

  • Mikko Rantanen RW | DAL

    Stars' Mikko Rantanen: Resumes skating

Rantanen (lower body) has resumed skating, but his return to the lineup isn't imminent, per Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports on Tuesday.

Rantanen skated on his own Monday for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury at the 2026 Winter Olympics. He is still at least two weeks away from a potential return to the lineup, though his absence could be for longer than that. Rantanen remains on injured reserve, and he will miss his seventh straight game against Vegas on Tuesday.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Slated to start Tuesday

Blackwood is expected to guard the cage at home versus the Oilers on Tuesday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Although Blackwood has split the workload over the Avs' last three games, he has still featured in 10 of the club's last 14 outings. During that stretch, the 29-year-old netminder is 5-4-0 with a 2.50 GAA and one shutout. With just two more victories, Blackwood will get over the 20-win threshold for the second straight year.

  • Rangers' Brendan Brisson: Sent to Hartford

Brisson was assigned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.

Brett Berard was summoned from the minors in a corresponding transaction. Brisson did not draw into the lineup Monday in Philadelphia following his call-up Sunday. The 2020 first-round pick by the Golden Knights has recorded 15 goals, 12 helpers, 52 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 49 appearances with the Wolf Pack in 2025-26.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Back in net Tuesday

Gibson (undisclosed) will guard the road net against Florida on Tuesday, per Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press.

Gibson left Sunday's 3-0 win over New Jersey after a collision late in the second period, but he won't miss additional action because of the issue. He earned the win in the contest after stopping all 21 of the shots he faced before his exit. Gibson has a 24-13-2 record this season with four shutouts, a 2.52 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 41 appearances. Florida sits 19th in the league with 2.97 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • James Reimer G | OTT

Senators' James Reimer: Posts 16-save shutout

Reimer stopped all 16 shots he faced in Monday's 2-0 win over the Canucks.

If there was a game where Reimer could've earned his first shutout of the season, this was it -- he didn't have a lot of work against one of the worst offenses in the league. Reimer has won three of his last four starts dating back to Jan. 28, going 3-1-0 with a 1.75 GAA and an .899 save percentage over that span. Reimer should remain the No. 2 option between the pipes behind Linus Ullmark, though, so his fantasy role remains limited and matchup-based until further notice.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Starting in Montreal

Woll will defend the visiting crease Tuesday against the Canadiens, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Woll has dropped three straight outings while allowing 13 goals on 86 shots during that time, and he hasn't been in the win column since Feb. 2. This will be his second start in Montreal this season -- he surrendered four goals on 25 shots in a 5-2 loss Nov. 22. That was his only regular-season loss to the Canadiens in his career, though, as he's 3-1-0 against them overall.

  • Brady Tkachuk LW | OTT

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Scores in win over Vancouver

Tkachuk scored an empty-netter in Monday's 2-0 win over the Canucks.

Tkachuk closed out the scoring for the Senators with a wrister into the Canucks' empty net at the 18:40 mark of the third period. Tkachuk has 17 goals on the season, but this tally also allowed him to push his point streak to seven games. Over that span, the star winger has racked up three goals, four assists, a plus-4 rating, 14 PIM, 26 shots on goal, 13 hits and four blocked shots.
