Troy Terry RW | ANA
Ducks' Troy Terry: Status for road trip uncertain
Terry (upper body) will travel with the Ducks during their upcoming four-game road trip, but head coach Joel Quenneville isn't sure whether the 28-year-old will be able to play, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Terry missed a sixth consecutive game Sunday against the Blues, and while it's encouraging that he'll travel with the team for the upcoming road trip, it doesn't appear as though he'll be ready for the start of the four-game span. Frank Vatrano should continue to see playing time to begin the Ducks' road trip, while Terry will should tentatively be considered day-to-day across the team's next four games.

Logan O'Connor RW | COL
Avalanche's Logan O'Connor: Progressing in recovery
Head coach Jared Bednar said Sunday that O'Connor (hip) is progressing in his recovery and could return to game action soon, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
While a clear timetable for O'Connor's return isn't yet clear, he at least seems to be in the mix to suit up for the Avalanche before the end of the regular season. The 29-year-old underwent hip surgery in June and hasn't yet made his season debut after suffering a setback in mid-November. Across 80 regular-season appearances with Colorado last year, O'Connor generated 10 goals, 11 assists, 68 hits, 50 blocked shots and 26 PIM while averaging 14:07 of ice time.

John Leonard LW | DET
Red Wings' John Leonard: Sent back down
Leonard was assigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Sunday.
Leonard was a healthy scratch for Sunday's 3-0 win over the Devils after being elevated from the minors earlier in the day. It's a possibility Leonard could be back with the big club for Tuesday's road game against the Panthers if Dylan Larkin (leg) remains out of the lineup.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Avoids missing first game of season
Ekholm (undisclosed) will suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup in Vegas, per the NHL media site.
Ekholm will avoid missing his first game of 2025-26 after being deemed a game-time call earlier Sunday. The 35-year-old defenseman is currently riding a five-game point streak, during which he has six helpers and a plus-3 rating while averaging 20:05 of ice time. Ekholm will more than likely fill his usual role on the No. 1 pairing next to Evan Bouchard on Sunday.

Adam Henrique C | EDM
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Won't play Sunday
Henrique (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Golden Knights, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
Henrique was considered a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup, and he'll officially be forced to miss at least one contest after suffering a knee injury while blocking a shot against the Hurricanes on Friday. Josh Samanski will presumably enter the lineup against Vegas, while Henrique's next opportunity to play will be Tuesday against Colorado.

John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Unlikely to return to Sunday's game
Gibson is unlikely to return to Sunday's game against the Devils due to an undisclosed reason.
Gibson left Monday's game against Nashville early, and he exited Sunday's matchup after two periods. It's not yet clear whether his premature departure was due to an injury, but he was perfect prior to his exit, turning aside all 21 shots he saw over two periods. Cam Talbot took over in the crease to begin the third period, while it's unclear whether Gibson will be available for Tuesday's game against Florida.

Oliver Moore C | CHI
Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Ruled out for Monday's game
Moore (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Monday's home matchup against the Mammoth, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Moore did not return to Sunday's game in Dallas after colliding into the end boards with Colin Blackwell. Head coach Jeff Blashill did not have an update on Moore's status other than to say that the 21-year-old will not be an option for Monday's contest. Chicago will face Utah again on the road Thursday, so more information on Moore's health should be available before then.

Troy Terry RW | ANA
Ducks' Troy Terry: Still out against Blues
Terry (upper body) will not be in the lineup for Sunday's home matchup versus St. Louis, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Terry will remain out for the last game of the Ducks' homestand, with his next chance to return to the lineup coming in Winnipeg on Tuesday. That matchup is the start of a four-game road trip for Anaheim, and it's unclear if Terry will travel with the team at this time. The last game of that trip is in Montreal next Sunday.

Colton Parayko D | STL
Blues' Colton Parayko: Not expected to play Sunday
Parayko (back) is slated to miss Sunday's game in Anaheim.
Parayko is set to miss his fifth consecutive contest, this one against the Ducks. The right-shot blueliner has averaged 22:24 of ice time over 58 appearances this season, and as a result of the Blues dealing Justin Faulk to the Red Wings on Friday, Parayko might receive an uptick in responsibilities once he's fully healthy and back in the lineup. The 32-year-old Parayko's next chance to suit up will be at home versus the Islanders on Tuesday.

Ville Husso G | ANA
Ducks' Ville Husso: Facing St. Louis
Husso will be between the home pipes against the Blues on Sunday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Husso turned in an excellent performance in a rare start Wednesday against the Islanders, stopping 42 of 43 shots in a 5-1 win. The Finnish netminder is 7-5-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .894 save percentage through 13 outings this season. The Blues sit toward the bottom of the NHL's standings, but they have been much better since getting Robert Thomas back in the lineup, winning three straight road games in Minnesota, Seattle and San Jose.
