  • Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Dishes pair of assists

Marchenko notched two assists in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Marchenko helped out on third-period goals by linemates Adam Fantilli and Mason Marchment to force overtime. During his four-game point streak, Marchenko has produced two goals and five assists, as well as 11 shots on net and a plus-2 rating. The 25-year-old winger is up to 54 points, 165 shots on net, 44 hits, 31 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 56 outings this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Fills box score Saturday

Severson scored a goal, added an assist and logged five PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Severson earned the Gordie Howe hat trick with a first-period goal, second-period assist and third-period fight. The 31-year-old defenseman has five points across his last four contests while filling a top-four role with power-play time. He's in a good position in the lineup to contribute more offense, though it may not last. Severson has five goals, 26 points, 76 shots on net, 78 blocked shots, 37 PIM, 36 hits and a plus-11 rating over 61 appearances, surpassing his 25-point output from last year.

  • Blue Jackets' Mathieu Olivier: Gets Gordie Howe hat trick Saturday

Olivier scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged 27 PIM and notched two hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Olivier was involved in the Blue Jackets' first two goals. He was also at the center of a fracas in the third period, fighting with Ian Cole and getting a game misconduct and instigator penalties in the process. With four goals and an assist over his last four contests, Olivier is working on scoring his way into the conversation in fantasy, though his ability to rack up hits and PIM will help as well. He has 22 points, 70 shots on net, 89 PIM, 174 hits and a plus-13 rating over 49 appearances in a third-line role.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Facing Bruins

Silovs will protect the home net against Boston on Sunday, per Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.

Silovs will get the second half of Pittsburgh's back-to-back after Stuart Skinner played in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Philadelphia. The 24-year-old Silovs has a 13-8-8 record this campaign with a 2.80 GAA and an .898 save percentage across 29 appearances. Boston is tied for 10th in the league with 3.32 goals per game this season.

  • Brandon Tanev LW | UTA

Mammoth's Brandon Tanev: Stuck in press box

Tanev was scratched for the fifth straight game Saturday.

Tanev has lost his place in the lineup to Alex Kerfoot, who returned from an upper-body injury coming out of the Olympic break. The 34-year-old Tanev has had a nightmarish first season with Utah, producing just two assists with 32 shots on net, 125 hits, 28 PIM, 26 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 45 contests. This is the first season of his three-year deal carrying a $2.5 million cap hit.

  • Mammoth's Nick DeSimone: Contributes assist Saturday

DeSimone registered an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

DeSimone ended a five-game point drought with the helper. The 31-year-old defenseman is likely headed for a reserve role once Mikhail Sergachev (lower body) returns, as the addition of MacKenzie Weegar has strengthened the right side of Utah's defense. DeSimone has six points, 32 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over a career-best 35 appearances this season.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Mammoth's Ian Cole: Notches assist in overtime win

Cole logged an assist and five PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Cole helped out on Logan Cooley's first tally of the contest. This ended a 13-game point drought for Cole, who will likely see a drop in ice time once the Mammoth's blue line is at full health. He should still be in the lineup regularly over Nick DeSimone. Cole has matched his output from last year with 17 points while adding 45 shots on net, 60 hits, 124 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-20 rating through 63 appearances.

  • Mammoth's Kevin Stenlund: Posts helper Saturday

Stenlund earned an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Stenlund has a helper in each of the last two games. His goal drought is still ongoing, reaching 14 contests Saturday. The 29-year-old center has 14 points, 52 shots on net, 34 hits, 48 blocked shots and 22 PIM through 62 appearances. He's been a fixture on the fourth line this season and also plays a role on the penalty kill.

  • Mammoth's MacKenzie Weegar: Logs helper in team debut

Weegar posted an assist, two hits and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Weegar missed only one game while waiting for his work visa after a trade from Calgary. He immediately slotted into a top-pairing role for the Mammoth, though the team didn't get enough power-play time to give a hint as to his usage in that situation. Weegar is up to 22 points, 126 shots on net, 132 hits, 146 blocked shots, 69 PIM and a minus-35 rating over 61 appearances. His overall play should benefit from joining a team in the thick of the playoff race.

  • Flames' Hunter Brzustewicz: Summoned from minors

Brzustewicz was recalled from AHL Calgary by the Flames, the team announced Sunday.

The injury to Zach Whitecloud (upper body) on Saturday created a hole for the Flames on the back end that Brzustewicz has likely been recalled to fill. If the 21-year-old Brzustewicz gets into a game, it will be his first since Jan. 29. He has played 18 NHL games overall on the season, recording one goal and one assist in those contests.
