Rakell lit the lamp on a power play late in the second period to put the Penguins up by four goals. He has 11 goals, 25 points, 108 shots on net, 53 hits and 33 blocked shots across 38 games this season. The veteran forward has been effective in a top-six role when healthy this season and is set to see a bump in playing time with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined. Rakell holds solid fantasy value moving forward while the Penguins vie for a playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division.

Flyers' Boris Katchouk: Joining new organization
Katchouk was dealt from the Wild to the Flyers on Sunday in exchange for Roman Schmidt.
Katchouk played in three games for the Lightning earlier this season before being traded to the Wild in late December. The 2016 second-round pick has posted a total of five goals and 13 points over 29 games between AHL Syracuse and Iowa in 2025-26. The 27-year-old winger will now link up with AHL Lehigh Valley.

Karlsson distributed two power-play assists in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Golden Knights.
Karlsson recorded the primary helper on both of the team's two power-play goals in the second period. With the pair of helpers, he is up to 34 assists, 38 points, 113 shots on net and 47 blocked shots over 54 games this season.The veteran blueliner has three assists across his last two games and will likely remain a key contributor to Pittsburgh's offense with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined for at least four weeks. Karlsson holds solid fantasy value in nearly all formats moving forward.

Predators' Jordan Oesterle: Records three assists
Oesterle notched three assists in AHL Milwaukee's 4-3 overtime win over Manitoba on Sunday.
Oesterle was heavily involved in this win. He's earned nine assists during his seven-game streak, but he has gone 11 contests without a goal. The veteran defenseman is up to 31 points in 51 outings, but he's unlikely to be the first in line for a call-up if the Predators' defense needs reinforcements.

Schaefer scored twice in AHL Milwaukee's 4-3 overtime win over Manitoba on Sunday.
Schaefer hasn't gotten a call back to the NHL after a brief stint with the big club prior to the Olympic break. The winger continues to play well for the Admirals -- he has 14 goals and 12 assists over 30 outings. The Predators are on the fringe of the playoff race, but it wouldn't be surprising for Schaefer to get a longer look with the big club if it falls out of contention.

Brazeau tallied a goal, supplied an assist and recorded two blocked shots in Sunday's 5-0 win over Vegas.
Brazeau picked up his first two points since the Olympic break, dishing a secondary helper on Pittsburgh's second goal before scoring the team's fifth and final goal of Sunday's contest. With the pair of points, the 28-year-old winger now has 16 goals, 13 assists, 82 shots on goal, 56 hits and 31 blocked shots across 45 appearances this season. He has nine points over his last 14 games and is on pace to reach the 35-point mark for the first time in his three-year career.

Wild's Roman Schmidt: Moved in minor-league deal
Schmidt was traded to the Wild from the Flyers in exchange for Boris Katchouk on Sunday.
Schmidt was traded to Philadelphia from Tampa Bay in early December, and he'll be on the move once again just under three months later. He's recorded an assist and 60 PIM over 29 AHL appearances between Lehigh Valley and Syracuse, and he'll report to Iowa following Sunday's transaction.

Rust scored a power-play goal, registered a power-play assist, put two shots on net and dished out two hits in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Golden Knights.
Rust found the back of the net midway through the second period on a power play before picking up a secondary power-play helper on Rickard Rakell's goal. Rust has 20 goals, 23 assists, 131 shots on net and 56 blocked shots across 52 games this season. His 20 power-play points are tied with Sidney Crosby for the team lead. Rust offers two-way value in fantasy, as he currently ranks 13th in blocked shots among forwards in addition to his offensive success.

Penguins' Ben Kindel: Grabs pair of points Sunday
Kindel scored a goal, distributed an assist, placed three shots on net and recorded two blocked shots in Sunday's 5-0 win over Vegas.
Kindel placed the game's opening tally on the scoreboard with just over five minutes remaining in the first period before later sliding the primary assist on Justin Brazeau's goal late in the third. Overall, Kindel now has 15 goals, 14 assists, 120 shots on net and 47 blocked shots across 56 games this season. The 18-year-old rising star has provided consistent offense with nine points in his last nine games, and he has also thrived defensively, ranking 22nd among NHL forwards in blocked shots this season. Kindel is a must-roster player in all dynasty formats and can also make an impact in various standard leagues while his current stretch of play lasts.

Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Shines in shutout victory
Silovs turned aside all 22 shots on goal in Sunday's 5-0 shutout victory over the Golden Knights.
Silovs played a prominent role in an all-around team victory for the Penguins, as he fended off multiple power-play opportunities in the second period in addition to his numerous saves at even strength. With Sunday's victory, the 24-year-old netminder now holds a 13-7-8 record, a 2.75 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 28 appearances this season. Silovs has won each of his two starts since the Olympic break and is currently on a three-game winning streak. Over his last nine outings, he has a 1.77 GAA and a .934 save percentage. Silovs is widely available in fantasy formats, making him a strong waiver-wire target for the time being.
