  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

    Ducks' Radko Gudas: Unavailable Thursday

Gudas (lower body) is expected to miss Thursday's season finale against Nashville, per the NHL media site.

Gudas also missed six of Anaheim's past seven games. He will conclude the regular season with two goals, 13 points, 67 PIM, 164 hits and 88 blocks in 56 appearances with Anaheim. He still might be available for Game 1 of the Ducks' first-round series against Edmonton.

  • Chris Kreider LW | ANA

Ducks' Chris Kreider: Back in action Thursday

Kreider (illness) will play Thursday versus the Predators, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Kreider is set to return after a one-game absence. He should be in the top six and on a power-play unit for this contest. The 34-year-old Kreider has bounced back well this year with 50 points in 74 outings after producing just 30 points in 68 games in 2024-25.

  • John Leonard LW | DET

Red Wings' John Leonard: Agrees to one-year contract

Leonard signed a one-year contract extension with the Red Wings on Thursday.

Per PuckPedia, the contract is worth $850,000. Leonard had two goals and four points in 11 games with Detroit in 2025-26. He also has 32 goals and 53 points across 46 appearances with AHL Grand Rapids this season.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Not playing Thursday

Marchessault (undisclosed) won't play Thursday versus the Ducks, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports.

Marchessault will miss the last game of the season. He ends the campaign with just 31 points and 132 shots on net over 62 appearances. It's his fewest games played in a full-length season since 2015-16, so it's possible he's been playing through something. He also missed 14 contests earlier in the campaign due to a lower-body issue.

  • Predators' Nicolas Hague: Won't play in season finale

Hague (upper body) is expected to miss Thursday's season finale against Anaheim, per Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean.

Hague will finish 2025-26 with three goals, 15 points, 47 PIM, 76 hits and 54 blocks in 62 appearances. Nashville didn't make the playoffs, but Hague is signed through 2028-29, so he's set to be back with the Predators next season unless he's traded.

  • Roman Josi D | NSH

Predators' Roman Josi: Absent from lineup for finale

Josi (undisclosed) won't play Thursday versus the Ducks, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports.

Josi will miss the Predators' regular-season finale and finish the campaign with 55 points in 68 appearances. The 35-year-old defenseman recently battled an upper-body injury that cost him one game. Despite missing this contest, Josi's status for the IIHF World Championship, which is in his native Switzerland, has yet to be determined.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: In goal Thursday

Husso will guard the road goal versus the Predators on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Husso will get the start even though the Ducks still have positioning to play for. He has gone 2-1-1 over his last four games, but he's allowed 16 goals on just 102 shots (.843 save percentage) in that span. The Predators are without a few regulars for their season finale, but Husso will need to do better than he has lately to give the Ducks the best chance of finishing where they want to in the standings.

  • Juuse Saros G | NSH

Predators' Juuse Saros: Protecting home goal Thursday

Saros will guard the home goal versus the Ducks on Thursday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Saros will get the nod in the season finale after taking a seat for the Predators' last two contests. He has had the worst year of his career with a 3.13 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 59 appearances. Saros will face a Ducks team that is still hungry to secure better positioning in the postseason, so this won't be an easy matchup.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Getting another start Thursday

Vejmelka will start Thursday's home game versus the Blues, per the NHL media site.

The Mammoth are not leaning into the rest concept heading into the postseason, as Vejmelka will make his 11th appearance in 12 contests. That's even with Utah locked into the first wild-card spot and a first-round series versus the Golden Knights. Vejmelka is on a roll, going 7-2-0 with a 3.08 GAA and an .888 save percentage over his last 10 games.

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Won't play Thursday

Durzi (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against St. Louis.

Durzi will finish the regular season with five goals, 27 points, 50 PIM, 40 hits and 88 blocks in 60 appearances. Utah has made the playoffs, but it remains to be seen if Durzi will be available for Game 1 against Vegas on Sunday. He sustained the injury during Tuesday's 5-3 victory over Winnipeg.
