Brewers third baseman Elian Herrera (knee) is unlikely to play again in 2015, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Herrera had been serving as the regular third baseman following the departure of Aramis Ramirez to Pittsburgh, but has now been out of action for 10 straight contests. The 30-year-old utility man can now turn his focus to recovery in an effort to put himself in a position to earn a roster spot in the 2016 season.
