McLouth will start in left field for the Orioles on Saturday night. He'll bat seventh in the lineup.

McLouth played 34 games for the Pirates this season before being designated for assignment by Pittsburgh. He hit a disappointing .140/.210/.175 with no home runs and two RBI.

In 47 games with Triple-A Norfolk, McLouth hit .244/.325/.461 with 10 home runs and 33 RBI.

McLouth had an out-clause in the minor-league contract he signed with the Orioles and was ready to opt-out at midnight on Friday.
