The Rangers have called a halt to catcher Carlos Corporan's minor league rehab stint after four games at Triple-A Round Rock, per the Dallas Morning News.
Corporan has been on the 15-day disabled list since July 13 with a bruised left thumb. The Rangers shut him down after he complained of soreness in the thumb following Monday's game.
Corporan will have the thumb re-examined and may need surgery.
