Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts batting over .400 after six games

Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts had a two-RBI double off Masahiro Tanaka in the fourth inning of Sunday's 14-4 loss against the Yankees. He finished the game 2 for 4.

Bogaerts has hit safely in five straight games after being held hitless in the season opener against the Phillies. He has three multihit games.

The second-year infielder is batting .407 (11 for 27) with one double, one triple, four runs, six RBI, three walks and three strikeouts in six games. He also has two stolen bases.
