Red Sox manager John Farrell confirmed to MLB Network Radio rookie infielder Xander Bogaerts, who was promoted Monday, will make his first career start Tuesday at San Francisco.
"Xander Bogaerts will be in the lineup tonight for Stephen Drew," Farrell said.
