But, they probably know that's the stratosphere they need to be in if they want him, which they obviously do.

Michael Baron@michaelgbaron14H agoFor the math experts, if the #Mets are at 3 years and $120-140 million for Kyle Tucker: $120 million = $40 million AAV $130 million = $43.33 million AAV $140 million = $46.66 million AAV That's a lot, and it may not be enough. But, nobody can say that isn't an aggressive push.

Michael Baron@michaelgbaron14H agoAssuming Kyle Tucker has an offer for more than 3 years somewhere, that's something the #Mets really shouldn't balk at matching. He's 28, an elite hitter, at least league average on his worst day in the outfield. And, they have a clear need after they willfully created a hole.
