Brian McTaggart@brianmctaggart1H agoThe Astros rally for three runs in the 8th to beat the Tigers, 4-2, in Hunter Brown's return. Raynel Delgado had two hits, one run and his first two MLB RBIs. Astros are 34-41, improving to 4-38 when trailing after seven innings. -
Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome1H agoThe Astros won 4-2. They are 34-41. Hunter Brown was very good in his return. Ray Delgado bought himself a few more weeks on the roster. Josh Hader has not allowed a runner past first base in six outings since being activated off the IL. -
Brian McTaggart@brianmctaggart1H agoRaynel Delgado, making his second start for the Astros, strokes a two-run single up the middle in the eighth to put them ahead. -
Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome2H agoHunter Brown is back out for the sixth. Steven Okert warmed throughout the bottom of the fifth. My educated guess is the plans changed once the Astros tied the game, but this is likely a batter to batter situation. Three of Detroit's next four hitters are left-handed https://t.co/QaaWrF56r2 -
Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome2H agoThe Astros have tied the game in an inning that began with Framber Valdez being late to cover first base on a routine ground ball hit by the nine-hole hitter. A passed ball permitted him to score. -
Matt Kawahara@matthewkawahara2H agoHunter Brown is at 76 pitches through five innings and Steven Okert is warming. Joe Espada said pregame the Astros would "keep an eye on" Brown in his first start back. -

Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome4H agoThe pink backpack is still being utilized by the Astros bullpen, even after Alimber Santa's demotion. Jayden Murray wore it on his walk down yesterday. AJ Blubaugh has it on today. -
Brian McTaggart@brianmctaggart4H agoColt Keith, who hit three homers against the Astros yesterday, was scratched with right wrist soreness.
