Their offense scored three or fewer runs in eight of those games. They are 73-71 and lead the AL West by 2 ½ games, pending the Rangers’ result. -

Houston stranded nine baserunners and went 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position. Just one of those hits scored a run. The Astros lost two of three to the DBacks to finish a 4-3 homestand -
Brian McTaggart@brianmctaggart11M agoThe D-backs beat the Astros, 3-2, to win the final two games of the series , dropping the Astros to 73-71. The Astros are pitching their ass off, but the offense scored three runs in each game against Arizona. 18 games remaining. -
