White Sox's Tyler Naquin: Set to join White Sox
Naquin is headed to Chicago to join the White Sox's active roster, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
As Van Schouwen notes, Naquin's addition to the roster would seem to point to a stint on the injured list for Luis Robert (knee). Brewers' Tyler Naquin: Returns to action at Triple-A
Naquin (shoulder) was activated from Triple-A Nashville's 7-day injured list Tuesday and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored in his return to the lineup for the Sounds' 8-3 win over Omaha.
Naquin was sidelined for a little over a week due to the bruised shoulder but looked plenty healthy in his return to the lineup. With Garrett Mitchell (shoulder) recently joining Tyrone Taylor (elbow) on the Brewers' 10-day IL and with Triple-A teammate Sal Frelick (thumb) likely out for the next 6-to-8 weeks, Naquin could be next in line for a promotion if Milwaukee needs another outfielder.

Brewers' Tyler Naquin: Shelved at Triple-A
Triple-A Nashville placed Naquin on its 7-day injured list Thursday with a bruised shoulder, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Naquin's injury sounds like a relatively minor concern, but his absence looms larger than normal with the Brewers' outfield depth being tested at both the MLB and Triple-A level. Garrett Mitchell recently joined Tyrone Taylor (elbow) on the 10-day IL with what could be a season-ending shoulder injury, while top prospect Sal Frelick (thumb) resides on Nashville's 7-day IL along with Naquin. The injuries to Frelick and Naquin explain why both were bypassed for a promotion to the big club in favor of Blake Perkins when Mitchell hit the shelf Wednesday.

Brewers' Tyler Naquin: Scratch was precautionary
Brewers manager Craig Counsell said that Naquin's scratch from Saturday's Cactus League game due to shoulder discomfort was precautionary, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Naquin was scratched with a sore shoulder shortly before their game against the Giants. "It's just a Spring Training precautionary thing," Counsell said. "His shoulder is bugging him a little bit so we gave him a day." Naquin may not be back in the lineup Sunday if he's still bothered by the shoulder, but this does not appear to be an injury that will carry into the regular season.
