Torres went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs in an 11-2 win against Seattle on Tuesday.
Torres set the table well from the leadoff spot, scoring after each of his three hits. He was given a couple innings off his feet when Jon Berti took over for him at second base with the Yankees up big in the seventh inning. Torres took Cooper Criswell deep in the first at-bat of the game, his third leadoff homer of the season. Torres just barely cleared the right-center field wall on a ball that would have only been a home run at Yankee Stadium. It was his 13th homer of the season, and he snapped a streak of 14 straight games without going deep. Torres has found a home at the top of the Yankees lineup and is hitting .307/.398/.436 in his last 25 games as the leadoff man.

Torres went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and two RBI in Monday's 8-4 win against Texas.
Torres kicked off the scoring in the contest with a two-run double in the third inning. He had two additional hits for his first multi-hit performance since Aug. 26. Torres has been hitting well for the past few weeks, slashing .327/.393/.490 with two homers, nine RBI and nine runs over his past 12 games.

Torres went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 win against the Nationals.
Torres took Mitchell Parker deep on the fifth pitch of the game. It was Torres' second leadoff homer this season, the other was on July 24. It was also the second time this season that Torres went deep in back-to-back games. Torres has hits in six straight games and has settled into the Yankees leadoff spot, hitting first in 10 straight games. The 27-year-old has put together a strong August, hitting .296/.383/.395 in 21 games.
