Diamondbacks' Lourdes Gurriel: Homers in return
Gurriel went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 7-4 win over the Brewers.
Gurriel, who spent nearly three weeks on the 10-day injured list with a strained left calf, was activated from the IL earlier in the day and started in left field. His sixth-inning homer gave the Diamondbacks a lead they would not relinquish. The domino effect of his return means Jake McCarthy, who sat out Friday, and Pavin Smith will likely lose at-bats.
