Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Bagging hits in bunches
Chourio is 11-for-17 (.647) with six doubles, five RBI and three stolen bases over his last five spring games.
Chourio started racking up hits almost as soon as the spring schedule began, and he piled up all kinds of them over the last week. Expectations are high for Chourio this season, and his recent results have done nothing to slow the momentum.

Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Sizzling this spring
Chourio went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs in Monday's Cactus League game against the Mariners.
Chourio shined as a rookie and has picked up where he left off this spring, going 9-for-23 (.391) with a 3:2 BB:K while recording both a trio of doubles and steals. Chourio -- who turned 21 years old Tuesday -- will play regularly in 2025, and it looks like he will occupy a prominent spot in the batting order, as he has hit either leadoff or second in eight of the nine exhibition contests he has appeared in to date.

Brewers' Jackson Chourio: Will play some center field in 2025
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Tuesday that Chourio will play some center field this season, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Chourio was primarily a center fielder in the minors, but the Brewers played him exclusively in the corner outfield spots in 2024 because, according to Murphy, Chourio "couldn't catch a flyball." The 20-year-old graded out with a plus-7 Outs Above Average in right field and a minus-1 OAA in left field last season. Murphy didn't reveal how much center field Chourio might play in 2025, but if he looks comfortable there, it would give the manager more potential lineup combinations.
