Goodman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.
Goodman has now homered six times over his last six games, racking up 11 RBI in that span. The catcher is enjoying quite the breakout year in the power department. With 27 homers through 81 contests, he's just four shy of matching his total from last year. Goodman is batting .243 with an .853 OPS, 50 RBI, 54 runs scored, 13 doubles and five stolen bases on the year.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Goes deep again Monday
Goodman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in a loss to the Marlins on Monday.
Goodman continued his power binge with a 442-foot solo shot to left-center field in the seventh inning. The backstop has now gone deep five times over his past four contests, with a three-homer game against Minnesota on Saturday providing the bulk of those long balls. Goodman ranks second in the majors with 26 home runs overall, and he's already five away from the impressive 31 homers he slugged across 144 contests in his breakout campaign last year.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Crushes three homers in win
Goodman went 3-for-5 with three home runs and five RBI in an 8-5 victory against Minnesota on Saturday.
Goodman was a force to be reckoned with in the win, producing the first three-homer game of his career. None of the long balls were cheap shots -- each was estimated at over 400 feet. Goodman has racked up four homers and eight RBI over his past two games, and he now leads all MLB catchers with 25 home runs on the season. The Rockies record for homers in a campaign is 49 (set by Larry Walker in 1997 and Todd Helton in 2002), and given that the team is only 83 games into the current season, Goodman has a legitimate chance of challenging that franchise mark if he keeps up a similar pace.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Blasts 22nd homer
Goodman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and three total RBI in Friday's extra-inning loss to the Twins.
Goodman delivered his home run in the top of the ninth inning, giving the Rockies a brief lead in the contest. He is coming off a poor homestand in which he went only 2-for-21 with eight strikeouts, but he snapped out of that slump with his showing Friday. Goodman now has 22 homers on the campaign and has an exceptional .271 ISO across 319 plate appearances.

Goodman wrapped up the Rockies' six-game road trip with a homer. He went 8-for-25 (.320) with three homers and six RBI during the trip. For the season, the catcher has batted .251 with an .858 OPS, 21 long balls, 39 RBI, 46 runs scored, 12 doubles and five stolen bases over 69 contests. The Rockies continue to have three catchers on the roster, allowing Goodman to get some turns at designated hitter to keep his strong bat in the lineup nearly every day.

Goodman had gone 0-for-13 with nine strikeouts over his previous three games. He put that slump to rest with a first-inning homer, and he added another long ball in the fifth, accounting for two of the Rockies' six blasts in this blowout win. Goodman has had few slumps this season, but he's otherwise been a reliable power-hitting catcher. Goodman got Colorado off to a good start with a two-run blast off Colin Rea in the first inning. The long ball was his seventh over his past 12 contests, a span in which the backstop is batting .256 with 14 RBI, 11 runs and two stolen bases. Goodman broke out with 31 homers over 144 contests last season, and he's on pace to easily exceed that mark this year with 18 home runs through 61 games. Goodman went 2-for-4 with a double, a three-run homer and one walk in Friday's 8-6 win over the Giants.
With the Rockies trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Goodman came up with two on and swatted a towering three-run homer to tie the game off Giants closer Caleb Kilian. It was Goodman's 13th homer of the season and second in his last three games after he snapped a nine-game drought without a long ball. Goodman doesn't hit for average, but he swings hard and hits the ball hard when he does make contact. He entered Friday in the first percentile in chase rate (44.2 percent) and second percentile in strikeout rate (35.2 percent). On the year, Goodman is slashing .244/.307/.487 with 13 home runs, 23 RBI, 32 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 14:75 BB:K across 215 trips to the plate.

Goodman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 15-6 loss to the Dodgers.
Prior to Tuesday, Goodman was 7-for-33 (.212) with no extra-base hits over his last nine games. The catcher ended the power drought with a solo shot in the second inning, which was all the offense the Rockies could muster until they added some window dressing against position player Miguel Rojas in the ninth. Goodman is hitting .242 with a .775 OPS and 12 homers this season, but he's generated just 20 RBI, as the team around him isn't giving him much to bolster run production. He's added 31 runs scored, eight doubles and three stolen bases through 50 contests.
