Brewers' William Contreras: Drives in three runs Friday
Contreras went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Friday's 6-1 win over the Rangers.
Contreras opened the scoring with an RBI groundout in the first inning, then added an RBI single in the seventh and a sacrifice fly in the eighth. This was his eighth game of the season with at least three RBI and fell one shy of matching his season-high output in that category. He has 69 RBI on the campaign and continues to produce despite a relatively modest .268 average and .729 OPS. He's been seeing the ball well of late, though, as he has five multi-hit games and an impressive, yet unsustainable, .433 average over his last seven contests.

Brewers' William Contreras: Four hits in Friday's win
Contreras went 4-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 2-1 win over Atlanta.
The Brewers managed only nine hits in total on the afternoon, all of them singles, but Contreras had no trouble solving Chris Sale and the Atlanta bullpen. The 28-year-old backstop has produced multiple hits in three of his last five games, an impressive turnaround after he began August with a .109/.255/.196 slash line over his first 13 contests. During his recent hot streak, Contreras is batting .450 (9-for-20) with a double, a homer, five runs and five RBI.

Brewers' William Contreras: Snaps slump with two hits, including homer
Contreras went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 4-1 victory versus the Dodgers.
Contreras entered Saturday having gone 0-for-20 over his previous six games, so he was sorely in need of a positive performance. The veteran catcher produced just that, with his biggest knock being a two-run homer in the fourth inning for the game's final runs. Contreras is having a pretty quiet campaign with a modest 12 home runs through 115 games, though he has knocked in a healthy 61 runs and scored 59 times. Still, his .711 OPS would be his worst mark since 2021, when he played in just 52 regular-season contests as a rookie with Atlanta.

Contreras went 1-for-2 with a three-run walk-off home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Marlins
Contreras entered the game as a pinch hitter for Jake Bauers in the seventh inning and struck out in his first trip to the plate. He got another chance in the ninth with two runners aboard and one out, trailing by a run, and made the most of it by launching a three-run walk-off homer off Pete Fairbanks. The blast was his 10th of the season. Contreras closed the first half in a 2-for-22 slump, so Sunday's heroics could provide some momentum as he looks to regain his rhythm at the plate.
