Orioles' Trevor Rogers: No signs of rust in spring debut
Rogers didn't factor into the decision during Friday's 2-0 Grapefruit League victory over the Yankees, allowing one hit in two scoreless innings. He struck out three.
Rogers picked up right where he left off a year ago, when he turned in a career-best 1.81 ERA and 0.90 WHIP over 109.2 innings (18 starts). The 28-year-old left-hander looked particularly dominant at times in his spring debut, generating eight whiffs and pouring in 23 of his 32 pitches for strikes. Rogers appears to be the frontrunner to draw the Opening Day starting nod for Baltimore.

Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Reaches deal with Baltimore
Rogers agreed to a one-year, $6.2 million contract with the Orioles on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
Rogers opened the 2025 season on the IL due to a right knee injury, and he initially worked at Triple-A once healthy before earning a permanent spot in the Orioles' rotation by mid-June. He went 9-3 across 18 major-league starts and posted a 1.81 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 103:29 K:BB across 109.2 innings. Rogers figures to be a key member of the Orioles' rotation for the 2026 campaign and is a candidate to serve as the Baltimore's starter for Opening Day.

Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Pummeled in the Bronx
Rogers (9-3) took the loss in Friday's contest against the Yankees, allowing six runs on three hits and three walks over three innings. He struck out three.
The Baltimore southpaw's run of brilliance finally came to an end, as he allowed more than two runs for the first time since June 18. Rogers was undone by the long ball, coughing up multiple homers for the first time in 2025. The 27-year-old wraps an utterly fantastic season having pitched to a 1.81 ERA, 2.82 FIP, 0.90 WHIP and 103:29 K:BB across 109.2 innings.
