Breaux was released by the Yankees on Friday, Conor Foley of YES Network reports.
A second-round pick by the Yankees in 2018, Breaux never got the call-up to the majors with New York. He's spent the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, slashing .143/.189/.314 with a 40 percent strikeout rate.

Breaux (elbow) went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored Sunday against High-A Aberdeen.
Breaux was shut down at the beginning of March due to an elbow issue, but he's been cleared to return from the injured list and has been seeing the ball well at Single-A. He's slashing .290/.313/.419 with one homer, three RBI and five runs scored over seven contests.

Breaux (back) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
Breaux dealt with a back injury recently but will be cleared to rejoin the Triple-A club following a minimal IL stint. Over 70 games between the Double-A and Triple-A levels this year, he's slashed .231/.307/.469 with 17 home runs, 41 RBI, 35 runs and two stolen bases.
