  • Blue Jays' Adrian Pinto: Makes season debut at Double-A

Pinto (personal) has gone 1-for-7 with a home run and two walks in two games for Double-A New Hampshire since being assigned to the affiliate Tuesday.

After being a late arrival to spring training due to visa issues, Pinto opened the season on High-A Vancouver's restricted list. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the Florida State League on April 14, and after going 6-for-27 with a home run and 4:4 BB:K in seven games with Single-A Dunedin, Pinto was activated and bumped up to Double-A. The 23-year-old infielder has been productive at the dish throughout his minor-league career, but availability has been an issue. He hasn't played more than 50 games in any of the last four seasons.

  • Blue Jays' Adrian Pinto: Double-A debut delayed

Pinto was late to camp due to visa issues and is expected to join Double-A New Hampshire after getting up to speed in extended spring training games, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.

The 23-year-old Pinto was limited to 19 games in 2025 and 26 games in 2024, and he still hasn't played more than 60 games in a minor-league season. He had a .292/.366/.590 slash line with 10 home runs in 36 career games at High-A.

  • Blue Jays' Adrian Pinto: Shut down at High-A

High-A Vancouver placed Pinto on its 7-day injured list May 16 due to an unspecified injury.

The 22-year-old second baseman had been raking for Vancouver prior to being shelved with the injury, slashing .284/.376/.608 with seven home runs and three stolen bases in just 85 plate appearances. Listed at 5-foot-6 and 156 pounds, Pinto generates a surprising amount of power, but durability is starting to become a concern for him; he's now spent multiple months on the IL for four consecutive seasons.

  • Blue Jays' Adrian Pinto: Healthy again at High-A

Pinto (rib) has gone 8-for-15 with a home run, a triple, three doubles, nine RBI and five runs in three games since being reinstated from High-A Vancouver's 60-day injured list Wednesday.

Pinto was finally cleared to make his High-A Vancouver debut this past week after a rib issue cropped up in spring training and forced him to spend extended time on the shelf. Before he was activated, Pinto appeared in nine contests between the rookie-level Florida Complex League and Single-A Dunedin, slashing .394/.429/.576 with four extra-base knocks and two walks between those two stops.
