Gasper went 0-for-2 with a walk in Sunday's 3-1 win over Tampa Bay.
Gasper batted eighth as Boston's designated hitter in Sunday's season finale, his first start since Aug. 29. He showcased his plate discipline in the fourth inning, working a seven-pitch walk after falling behind 0-2 to Ryan Pepiot. Gasper could find himself in the mix at catcher behind Connor Wong in 2025 with Danny Jansen set to hit free agency. The switch-hitting Gasper went 0-for-18 with four walks and one hit by pitch in his first taste of the majors this year, adding one run scored in 13 games.
