Guardians' Will Dion: Contract selected

Rotowire May 26, 2026

The Guardians selected Dion's contract from Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday. Dion has transitioned into a full-time reliever in 2026, and while his ERA at Columbus is a tad bloated at 4.50, he's put up an impressive 36:5 K:BB over 26 innings. The left-hander will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.
