Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Will get MRI
Lockridge is expected to get an MRI on his injured right knee once swelling subsides, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Lockridge needed "about 10" stitches in the knee after crashing into a side wall in the outfield during Friday's contest versus the Yankees. While Lockridge was placed on the injured list Saturday and is currently on crutches, he said the laceration may heal in 7-to-10 days. Should that be the case, and should his MRI come back clean, Lockridge may be able to return to action before the end of May.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Placed on IL
The Brewers placed Lockridge (knee) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Lockridge was taken out of Friday's game against the Yankees after crashing hard into the side wall in left field and suffering a deep laceration in his right knee. Manager Pat Murphy said after the game that Lockridge is expected to be out for "a while," so the Brewers will stash him away on the IL and bring up Blake Perkins to replenish their outfield depth.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Suffers laceration, X-rays negative
Lockridge suffered a deep laceration down to the bone of his right knee during Friday's win over the Yankees, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
X-rays on Lockridge's knee came back negative for a fracture, but manager Pat Murphy said that the outfielder is still going to be sidelined for "a while" because of his laceration. That means a trip to the injured list is probably in Lockridge's future, and a return to the majors is likely in the cards for Blake Perkins.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Carted off field
Lockridge was removed from Friday's game against the Yankees with an apparent right leg/knee injury, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Lockridge crashed hard into the wall while trying to make a sliding catch in foul territory, and he wasn't able to put any weight on his right leg after being helped to his feet. He had to leave the game on a cart, and the Brewers will almost certainly send him in for imaging to determine whether he suffered a fracture. If the 29-year-old needs to spend time on the IL, Blake Perkins would be a candidate to return to the majors and get at-bats against left-handed starters.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Set to lose time versus righties
Lockridge is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Lockridge has received fairly steady playing time in the Milwaukee outfield throughout the season, but he appears set to move into more of a short-side platoon role moving forward after the Brewers reinstated Jackson Chourio (hand) from the injured list Monday. Chourio will step in as the Brewers' starting left fielder in his 2026 debut, leaving Lockridge as an odd man out while Garrett Mitchell and Sal Frelick cover the other two spots in the outfield.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Not in Thursday's lineup
Lockridge is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Diamondbacks.
Lockridge has been a regular presence in the Brewers' lineup lately, but he'll begin Thursday's festivities on the bench. Greg Jones is in left field and batting eighth in the rubber match.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Rejoining lineup Tuesday
Lockridge (hip) is starting in left field and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Red Sox.
The 29-year-old sat out Monday's series opener due to a hip issue but will end up missing only one game due to the injury. Lockridge will bat leadoff for the first time this season with Brice Turang (ankle/foot) banged up.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Not starting Monday
Lockridge (hip) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.
Lockridge reportedly sustained a hip injury in Sunday's 8-5 win over the Royals, and though he'll be out of the lineup for the series opener in Boston, he could still be available off the bench. Blake Perkins will draw the start in left field Monday, and he and Lockridge are likely to share time at the position until the Brewers get Jackson Chourio (hand) back from the injured list.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Dealing with hip issue
Lockridge suffered a hip injury in Sunday's game against the Royals, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
He didn't exit the contest, but Rosiak reports that Lockridge was hobbling around late in the game with the hip issue. Lockridge is hitting .348 with one double, three steals, three walks and three strikeouts in 27 plate appearances this season.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Returning to bench Wednesday
Lockridge is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
Lockridge will take a seat after he picked up starts in each of the last four games while going 6-for-14 with a double, a walk, a stolen base, three RBI and two runs. The right-handed-hitting Lockridge should be a mainstay in the lineup against left-handed pitching, but he may be limited to more of a part-time role versus righties.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Makes Opening Day roster
Lockridge will be included on the Brewers' Opening Day roster, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The writing was on the wall that Lockridge had won a bench spot when the Brewers optioned Blake Perkins to Triple-A Nashville on Friday, but the decision is now official. Lockridge did an excellent job separating himself from the competition during Cactus League play, slashing .316/.435/.684 with four homers, nine RBI, 13 runs scored and three stolen bases across 13 contests. As long as he can continue to produce on offense, the 29-year-old outfielder will likely fill in for either Sal Frelick or Garrett Mitchell whenever the Brewers encounter a left-handed starter.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Remains locked in
Lockridge went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and three runs in Monday's spring game against the Dodgers.
The Brewers scored a whopping 24 runs Monday, and Lockridge was a big reason why. It has been a big spring for the 29-year-old, who has registered four home runs, three steals and a 1.204 OPS over 11 appearances. With the Brewers possessing quality outfield depth and Lockridge still having minor-league options available, he is not a lock to break camp with the big club; however, he is certainly doing all he can to make the decision a tough one.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: In lineup Friday
Lockridge (shoulder) will play right field and bat second in Friday's spring training game against Arizona.
Lockridge sustained a bruised rotator cuff early in spring training after diving back into the bag. However, the soon-to-be 29-year-old has been cleared to return to the lineup for Friday's contest. Before suffering the injury, Lockridge went 6-for-11 with a pair of home runs and a stolen base.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Nursing rotator cuff contusion
Lockridge has been held out of Cactus League action since suffering a rotator cuff contusion Thursday when he dove back into the bag, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The good news is Lockridge avoided structural damage in the shoulder and he is expected to return to games in 3-5 days. Lockridge is off to a fantastic start this spring, going 6-for-11 with two home runs, one stolen base an a 2:1 BB:K. He's expected to open the season as a reserve outfielder for the Brewers.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Hot start to camp
Lockridge went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Monday's Cactus League game against the Padres.
Lockridge picked up a single in the top half of the first inning and slugged a solo home run in the top of the seventh in his final at-bat of the exhibition. He's now left the yard twice so far in two spring games after failing to hit a home run last season across 67 regular-season games. Lockridge looks to face an uphill battle to make the Opening Day roster, but he'd make the decision more difficult for Milwaukee if he continues to mash at the plate.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Dispatched to Triple-A
The Brewers optioned Lockridge to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
The Brewers traded for Lockridge at the deadline to provide the club with some speedy outfield depth while Jackson Chourio (hamstring) was on the IL. Now that the latter has returned, Lockridge will move to the minors and continue serving as organizational depth. The 28-year-old slashed .261/.308/.370 with six RBI, eight runs scored and two steals across 53 plate appearances during his time with Milwaukee.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Back on bench after three starts
Lockridge is out of the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader versus the Cubs.
Lockridge will retreat to the bench after he had started in all three games of the Brewers' weekend series in Cincinnati while going 4-for-12 with a triple, a double and two runs. The right-handed-hitting Lockridge could continue to see frequent opportunities to play against left-handed pitching, but his opportunities versus righties will likely be more limited moving forward after Blake Perkins returned from the bereavement list Sunday and Isaac Collins returned from the paternity list Monday.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Activated for Friday's contest
The Brewers activated Lockridge ahead of Friday's series opener in Washington.
Lockridge had been playing at Triple-A El Paso prior to being traded to the Brewers on Thursday, but rather than reporting to Milwaukee's top affiliate, he'll begin his time in his new organization with the big club after Jackson Chourio (hamstring) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Blake Perkins will likely serve as the primary replacement in center field for Chourio, but the right-handed-hitting Lockridge could become a regular in the Milwaukee lineup against left-handed pitching. With southpaw Mitchell Parker on the bump for Washington on Friday, Lockridge will occupy right field and bat leadoff in his Brewers debut.

Brewers' Brandon Lockridge: Headed to Milwaukee
The Brewers acquired Lockridge from the Padres on Thursday in exchange for left-hander Nestor Cortes (elbow), infielder Jorge Quintana and cash, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Lockridge has slashed .282/.402/.462 through 99 plate appearances at Triple-A El Paso this season but hasn't found nearly the same success in the big leagues, as he sported just a .519 OPS through 47 games with the Padres. The 28-year-old will likely report to Triple-A Nashville with his new organization, though a promotion to Milwaukee could be in the forecast if Jackson Chourio (hamstring) needs to go on the injured list.
