Braves' Hayden Harris: Loses spot on 40-man roster
Atlanta designated Harris for assignment Wednesday.
The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Elieser Hernandez. Harris has had major control problems in the minors this season, issuing 37 walks over 48.2 frames to go along with a 5.55 ERA between Double-A Columbus and Triple-A Gwinnett. However, the lefty has also struck out 64 batters during that time, and he boasts a career 35.1 percent strikeout rate in the minors. There should be interest in Harris via waivers.

Braves' Hayden Harris: Up from minors to join bullpen
Atlanta recalled Harris from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.
Harris will provide the club with a fresh bullpen arm after Atlanta's relievers were needed for five innings in Monday's loss to the Marlins. The lefty has yielded three runs with a 7:6 K:BB over 5.2 frames in his first five appearances with Gwinnett this season.

Braves' Hayden Harris: Optioned to Triple-A
Atlanta optioned Harris to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
Harris has had a great spring, allowing just one run with a 12:2 K:BB over five innings, but it wasn't enough to land a spot on the Opening Day roster. The left-handed reliever will begin the year at Gwinnett but should spend plenty of time with the major-league club in 2026.

Braves' Hayden Harris: Rejoins big-league bullpen
Atlanta recalled Harris from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday, Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal reports.
Harris will provide manager Brian Snitker with another bullpen arm for the final series of the season versus the Pirates. The southpaw yielded one run over 2.2 relief innings earlier this month for Atlanta.

Atlanta optioned Harris to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
Harris pitched each of the previous two days and allowed one runs over 2.2 innings covering three appearances during his brief time with the big club. Atlanta will replace him with a much-needed fresh bullpen arm in Dane Dunning, who was called up from Triple-A.
