Giants' Wilkin Ramos: Optioned to Triple-A

The Giants optioned Ramos to Triple-A Sacramento on Friday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Ramos received his first big-league promotion this week but was knocked around for five runs with a 1:4 K:BB over two innings. He's being replaced in the bullpen by Carson Seymour.

Giants' Wilkin Ramos: Garners first big-league call-up

The Giants selected Ramos' contract from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Ramos earned a look from the big club after turning in a 2.00 ERA and 27:7 K:BB over 27 innings with Sacramento. The 25-year-old reliever will be making his major-league debut when/if he enters a game.
