Crisantes (shoulder) has appeared in three Cactus League games since making his spring debut Wednesday, going a collective 3-for-7 with one double.
Crisantes was eased into workouts this spring after he underwent left shoulder surgery in May, but the 21-year-old demonstrated enough progress in his recovery for the Diamondbacks to sign off on him playing in games. Crisantes is attending camp as a non-roster invitee and is likely to be assigned to High-A Hillsboro to open the 2026 season.

Crisantes (shoulder) is expected to start playing soon once he's fully cleared, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.
Crisantes suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in May of 2025 and was limited to 34 games at High-A Hillsboro. The 21-year-old infielder could be in line for regular opportunities over the next two weeks with Ketel Marte (Dominican Republic) and Nolan Arenado (Puerto Rico) heading to the World Baseball Classic this week.

Cristantes is on the minor-league injured list and will miss the rest of the 2025 season due to a posterior labral tear in his left shoulder, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.
Cristantes is scheduled for surgery to repair the tear, and the 20-year-old prospect is expected to be ready for the start of spring training next year. The 20-year-old will finish 2025 with a .252/.358/.415 slash line with six steals, 18 runs scored, four home runs and 29 RBI in 151 plate appearances for High-A Hillsboro.
