  • Twins' Adrian Bohorquez: Returns from 7-day IL

High-A Cedar Rapids reinstated Bohorquez (forearm) from its 7-day injured list Monday. The 21-year-old righty posted an 11.25 ERA and 2.50 WHIP in eight innings across three starts for Cedar Rapids to begin the season before landing on the shelf April 20 due to a right forearm strain. Bohorquez was activated after making a pair of one-inning rehab appearances in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, so he could be limited from a workload perspective as he slots back into the Cedar Rapids rotation.

  • Twins' Adrian Bohorquez: Shelved by forearm injury

Bohorquez was placed on 7-day injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids with a right forearm strain, Theodore Tollefson of Zone Coverage reports. Given the nature of the injury, it could be a lengthy absence for the 21-year-old hurler. Bohorquez carries an 11.25 ERA and 13:9 K:BB over eight innings in his first three starts with Cedar Rapids this season.

  • Twins' Adrian Bohorquez: Up arrow in second half

Bohorquez, who was promoted to High-A Cedar Rapids on Aug. 4, has a 1.76 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 31:5 K:BB in 30.2 innings across his last seven starts. Bohorquez issued 17 walks in his first 20 innings this season at Single-A Fort Myers, but something has clicked lately for the 20-year-old righty. A sturdy 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Bohorquez has a plus curveball and his fastball has been up to 97 mph in recent starts, although his third-pitch cutter lags behind as a fringe-average offering.
