Athletics' Logan Davidson: Gets call to Triple-A
Davidson was recalled from Double-A Midland to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports, and went 2-for-2 with a two-run single after entering a loss to Reno as a defensive replacement in the seventh inning.
The Aviators wasted no time getting an up-close look at Davidson, and the 25-year-old picked up right where he'd left off offensively at Midland. Davidson earned the promotion by posting a .297 average and .863 OPS for the Rockhounds across 48 games, and if he can display similar acumen in Las Vegas, a September call-up for the versatile infielder wouldn't be out of the question.

Athletics' Logan Davidson: Snags spot in player pool
Davidson will be part of the 60-man player pool that will report to the Athletics' summer camp, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
The 2019 first-round pick had his first exposure to big-league arms before spring training was suspended, hitting .222 (2-for-9) with two RBI across seven Cactus League games. Davidson will now have a chance to continue his development irrespective of whether there is a 2020 minor-league season, as he's projected to join a pool of up to 30 non-active-roster players that will continue training at an alternate location throughout the regular season once summer camp concludes.
