Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Demoted to minors
The Yankees optioned Dominguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Monday's 13-7 loss to the Cardinals.
Dominguez is expected to give up his spot on the 26-man active roster and in the everyday lineup to outfielder Heliot Ramos, whom the Yankees acquired in a trade with the Giants on Monday. Since making his return from the injured list June 13 after recovering from an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, Dominguez slashed just .235/.274/.382 with five home runs, seven steals, 10 RBI and 18 runs in 44 games.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Swipes seventh bag
Dominguez went 2-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in a 3-2 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.
Dominguez was the only Yankee to collect multiple hits in a game during which the team as a whole compiled just six knocks. It was the second straight two-hit performance for the young outfielder following an 11-game stretch without any multi-hit efforts. Dominguez continues to slot in regularly in right field for New York, but he's posted a modest .646 OPS with one homer, three RBI, seven runs and a 1:9 BB:K over 11 games since the All-Star break.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Homers off Skubal on Wednesday
Dominguez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-2 victory versus the Tigers.
With Tigers ace lefty Tarik Skubal on the mound, Yankees manager Aaron Boone slid Dominguez into the No. 3 slot in the batting order. That move paid off when Dominguez broke a 2-2 tie with a two-run blast in the sixth inning. Dominguez struck out in each of his other three plate appearances, but his homer was ultimately the difference, as neither team scored for the remainder of the game. Since returning from the minors June 13, Dominguez has slashed .250/.268/.500 with two long balls, four doubles, four runs, three RBI, four stolen bases and a 1:12 BB:K.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Tallies two thefts in loss
Dominguez went 1-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases Sunday in a loss to the Reds.
Dominguez reached base only once, but he made the most of his first-inning single by swiping both second and third base. The talented young outfielder has stolen three bases over his past two contests after going without a theft across his first 14 games of the campaign. Dominguez certainly has the potential to notch plenty of steals given his 82nd percentile sprint speed.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Status TBD after tooth extraction
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said on the "Talkin' Yanks" podcast by Jomboy Media that Dominguez had a tooth pulled, and his availability for Tuesday's game versus the White Sox is uncertain.
The Yankees are presumably waiting to see how Dominguez feels after he reports to the ballpark before determining whether he will be ready to start the series opener. Dominguez has been in the lineup for each of the last two games following his return from the injured list. He will not need an IL stint as a result of his tooth extraction, but Dominguez might sit out Tuesday's contest.

Dominguez (tooth) will start in right field and bat fifth in Wednesday's game versus the White Sox.
Dominguez didn't play Tuesday after having a tooth extracted earlier in the day, but he's back in there for Wednesday's festivities. The switch hitter has homered once and reached base three times in two contests since returning from a shoulder injury.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Dominguez (teeth) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's matchup against the White Sox.
The Yankees will be cautious with Dominguez after he just had a tooth extracted. The 23-year-old also just came off the injured list June 13 following a shoulder injury, making manager Aaron Boone even more cautious with his outfielder. Cody Bellinger with play left field and Jose Caballero will take over in right field in Dominguez's absence. Dominguez is available off the bench for the Yankees on Tuesday.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Goes yard in return
Dominguez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jays.
Activated from the IL earlier in the day, Dominguez produced the Yankees' only hit off Kevin Gausman when he hooked a splitter down the right-field line in the fourth inning for his second homer of the season in 10 games. Dominguez got the start in right field and hit second Saturday, and the 23-year-old figures to maintain a prime spot in the lineup due to Aaron Judge (ribs) and Trent Grisham (hamstring) both being sidelined.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Reinstated from IL
The Yankees reinstated Dominguez (shoulder) from the injured list Saturday.
Dominguez landed on the injured list in early May with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder and was cleared to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A on June 5. Since then, he's gone 5-for-18 with two homers, three RBI and two steals across five games. Now fully healthy, the 23-year-old is expected to make regular starts in the outfield for New York following Trent Grisham's (hamstring) move to the injured list.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Being re-evaluated after weekend
Dominguez (shoulder) will play two more games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before being re-evaluated by the Yankees on Monday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Dominguez was cleared to embark on a rehab assignment June 5 and has gone 4-for-14 (.286) with one home run, two RBI and two steals across four minor-league games. He has at least two more games in Triple-A on tap, but if the evaluation on his left shoulder goes well, Dominguez could be back with the Yankees for their home series opener against the White Sox on Tuesday.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Starting rehab assignment Friday
Dominguez (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment Friday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.
Dominguez will play rehab games Friday and Sunday, and he's expected to need a few more next week before rejoining the active roster. That could point to a return as soon as the weekend of June 12-14, though the Yankees could wait until the start of their next homestand June 16 before activating Dominguez, who is coming back from a left shoulder AC joint sprain.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Closing in on rehab assignment
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Dominguez (shoulder) will hit live pitching Wednesday and likely begin a rehab assignment later this week, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.
Wednesday's session will mark Dominguez's first time facing live pitching since he suffered a left shoulder AC joint sprain in early May. As long as he gets through it without any hiccups, he'll be cleared to return to games. Dominguez's role with the Yankees could be dependent on whether he makes it back from the injured list before or after Giancarlo Stanton (calf).

Dominguez (shoulder) could be ready for a minor-league rehab assignment during the first week of June, per MLB.com.
Dominguez has been sidelined since injuring his shoulder by crashing into the outfield wall while making a catch May 7.
