Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome29M agoThe Astros won 6-3. They are 46-48. The bullpen threw 5.1 innings of one-run ball in relief of Tatsuya Imai. Jose Altuve homered. Nick Allen and Christian Vázquez had run-scoring hits. Josh Hader stranded the bases loaded to end the game. -

Imai gave up two runs, three walks and four hits in 3 2/3 innings, but six Astros relievers held the Nats to one run the rest of the way, with Josh Hader getting his 10th save. Nick Allen had three RBIs, Jose Altuve homered. -

If Javier pitches today, he'd be on four days rest on Sunday — when the Astros need to fill Mike Burrows' rotation spot. -
