Celtics' Al Horford: Expected to sit out Saturday
Horford (toe) is doubtful for Saturday's game versus the Nets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Horford has consistently sat out one leg of Boston's back-to-backs this season, so he will likely miss Saturday's outing due to a left big toe sprain. Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta could receive increased playing time as backup centers behind Kristaps Porzingis (illness).

Celtics' Al Horford: Upgraded to available
Horford (toe) is available for Friday's game against Miami, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Horford is good to go for the first half of Boston's back-to-back Friday, meaning he's unlikely to play Saturday against Brooklyn. With Kristaps Porzingis out with an illness against the Heat, Horford should stick in Boston's starting lineup. The veteran big man has averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers in 31.1 minutes while shooting 42.5 percent from downtown over his last eight appearances (six starts).

Celtics' Al Horford: Probable for Friday
Updating a previous report, Horford (toe) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Heat.
Hoford appears likely to play Friday while he deals with a left big toe sprain. He has started in each of his last six outings due to the absence of Kristaps Porzingis (illness), and over that span Horford has averaged 12.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks over 34.2 minutes per game while shooting 40.0 percent from three on 5.8 3PA/G.

Celtics' Al Horford: Questionable to play Miami
Horford (toe) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Heat, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Horford has been on the Celtics' injury report for much of the season due to a left big toe sprain. He's been held out of three games since the All-Star break, and with the Celtics playing a back-to-back set this weekend, Horford could be held out of either Friday's game or Saturday's contest against the Nets. If both Horford and Kristaps Porzingis (illness) were to be sidelined, Luke Kornet would likely be inserted into the starting lineup while Neemias Queta serves as the backup center.

Horford (toe) racked up 18 points (6-14 FG, 6-12 3Pt), 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 118-112 loss to Oklahoma City.
It was a full stat line by Horford, who caught fire from long distance for a season-high six three-pointers while registering his fourth double-double of the campaign in his return from a one-game absence. The veteran big man has averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers in 31.1 minutes while shooting 42.5 percent from deep through his last eight outings (six starts). Horford fared well as the team continued to cope with Kristaps Porzingis' (illness) absence. Horford has landed on the injury report recently as well, exposing a slim list of options when both big men are absent. It seems that Horford is able to work through his sprained toe, as he logged 37 minutes and didn't need much relief.

The veteran has now started in four straight games, averaging 11.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.0 three-pointers. With Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Jrue Holiday (finger) sidelined, Horford fared well in the starting lineup alongside Luke Kornet.
