Suns' Isaiah Thomas: Valued presence, gets new deal
Thomas signed a rest-of-season contract with Phoenix on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Thomas has provided "strong leadership and veteran presence in the locker room," per Charania, while also appearing in four contests as end-of-bench backcourt depth. Thomas had previously been signed to back-to-back 10-day deals, but he will officially stick around for Phoenix's upcoming playoff run.

Suns' Isaiah Thomas: Inks another 10-day deal
Thomas has signed a second 10-day contract with the Suns on Saturday.
Thomas has only seen the court in two of a possible six games since joining Phoenix. He tallied five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3PT) and one assist across eight minutes in his most recent appearance in Friday's 128-103 loss to the Thunder. The veteran will continue to be available for backcourt depth in the immediate future.

Suns' Isaiah Thomas: Officially signs, will be available
Thomas officially signed a 10-day contract with the Suns and will be available to make his debut against the 76ers on Wednesday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
While reports surfaced last week of Thomas' signing, it's important to note he didn't put ink to paper until Wednesday, so the 10-day clock starts now. The 35-year-old last played in the NBA in 2021-22, when he suited up for the Hornets, Mavericks and Lakers. Overall, he averaged 8.4 points, 1.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game while shooting 40.1 percent over 22 appearances that season. Thomas was balling out in limited action with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars before getting signed by Phoenix, as he averaged 32.5 points while shooting 44.6 percent from deep across four appearances. However, it is unlikely he will factor into Phoenix's rotation when the team is fully healthy.

Suns' Isaiah Thomas: Expected to debut Wednesday
Thomas (recently signed) is expected to make his Suns debut Wednesday versus the 76ers, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Thomas agreed to a 10-day contract Saturday but didn't join the team in time for Sunday's matchup in Milwaukee. The veteran point guard hasn't seen NBA action since the 2021-22 campaign, when he suited up for Charlotte, Dallas and the Lakers. In total, he averaged 8.4 points, 1.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game while shooting 40.1 percent over 22 appearances that season. Thomas was balling out in limited action with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars before getting signed by Phoenix, as he averaged 32.5 points while shooting 44.6 percent from deep across four appearances.

Suns' Isaiah Thomas: Joins Phoenix on 10-day deal
Thomas and the Suns agreed to a 10-day contract Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Thomas is officially back in the NBA after a brief and successful stint with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars. He won't be guaranteed more than a handful of minutes with the Suns, but they could certainly use more backcourt depth. Thomas' last NBA action came back in the 2021-22 season, when he saw action with the Hornets, Mavericks and Lakers and averaged 8.4 points, 1.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game while shooting 40.1 percent from the field over his 22 appearances.
