Heat's Terry Rozier: Back at practice Friday
Rozier (foot), who is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the Mavericks, participated in Friday's practice, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Rozier said Thursday that he underwent an MRI on his right foot that came back clean, and he was able to participate in Friday's practice. The 30-year-old missed Monday's win over Philadelphia due to the foot injury, and in his last five outings he has averaged 10.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals across 31.4 minutes per game.

Heat's Terry Rozier: Expected to play Sunday
Rozier said Thursday that an MRI on his right foot came back clean and he expects to return to practice Friday as well as play in Sunday's game versus the Mavericks, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Rozier missed Miami's last contest due to right foot discomfort but appears to have avoided a serious injury. If the 30-year-old guard is able to suit up against Dallas, he will likely reclaim his starting spot from Duncan Robinson.

Rozier will not play Monday against the 76ers due to right foot discomfort.
Monday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Heat may be holding him out for precautionary reasons. However, Rozier has been ice cold in November with a 35.3 percent shooting mark, so this injury could be a reason for his struggles. Fortunately for Miami, Jimmy Butler (ankle) has been cleared to return for Monday's game following a four-game absence.

Rozier scored a season-high 20 points, continuing his promising start to the season. Across the first three games, he is averaging 19.3 points per game, adding 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.3 three-pointers. There is room to improve on the defensive end, where he is currently delivering just 0.3 steals per contest. Rozier was typically available in the 100 range during drafts, a position that looks as though could end up being a bargain.

Rozier (neck) has been fully cleared to play this summer, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reported Tuesday.
Rozier missed the final 11 games of 2023-24, including all five postseason games versus Boston, with a neck strain, but he'll have a full offseason with a clean bill of health to work on his game. Rozier made 31 appearances for the Heat last season, posting averages of 16.4 points, 4.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.1 three-pointers.
