Clippers' Nigel Hayes: Joins Clippers for summer
Hayes agreed Friday to join the Clippers for the Las Vegas Summer League, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
Hayes signed a two-year contract with EuroLeague club Zalgiris earlier in June, but his deal contains an opt clause that allows him to pursue NBA opportunities. While he would surely like to continue his career in the NBA, Hayes may need to turn some heads in the summer league in order to earn a training-camp invitation. After going undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2017, Hayes began his career in the G League but went on to make nine appearances at the NBA level in his first professional season.

Nigel Hayes: Headed to Turkey
Hayes agreed to a contract last week with Galatasaray S.K. of the Turkish Basketball Super League, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
After going undrafted out of Wisconsin last summer, Hayes opened the 2017-18 campaign in the G League. He ultimately earned a 10-day deal from the Lakers and two 10-day deals from the Raptors before concluding the season with the Kings, appearing in nine NBA games in total. Sacramento ultimately cut Hayes loose in July, and after failing to attract interest from other NBA teams, the 23-year-old has elected to head overseas. His deal likely includes an opt-out clause that would allow him to return to North America if another opportunity with an NBA squad should present itself.

Nigel Hayes: Waived by Kings, still at summer league
Hayes was waived in order to make room for the contract offer extended to restricted free agent Zach LaVine (which the Bulls matched), James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Hayes will still participate in summer league with the team.
It's not clear if Sacramento intends to sign Hayes to a new deal, since his release was somewhat of a formality. There is a chance it depends on his summer league effort, however, as the presence of No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley severely affects Hayes' potential for playing time.

Kings' Nigel Hayes: Plays in nine games during rookie campaign
Hayes averaged 3.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists across nine games played with the Lakers, Raptors and Kings during the 2017-18 season.
Hayes played most of the season in the G League but enjoyed call-ups to three different NBA teams in 2017-18. The former Wisconsin standout will look to improve upon his poor 33.3 percent free-throw and field goal percentage next year. Hayes is not under contract for next season as it figures that he will most likely be in the G League for at least the start of next year.

Kings' Nigel Hayes: Career high four rebounds
Hayes added two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one block across 16 minutes of action during Friday's 94-93 win at Memphis.
Since signing with the Kings, Hayes has been struggling mightily from the floor (17.6 percent). Friday's performance though was a new career high in rebounds for the former Wisconsin star. Hayes is averaging 2.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in three games with the Kings so far.

Kings' Nigel Hayes: Signs with Kings for rest of season
Hayes will sign a contract with the Kings for the rest of the season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
So far this season, Hayes has spent one 10-day contract with the Lakers and two with the Raptors, so this will mark a third destination for the rookie forward. Considering the Kings are well out of the playoff race, there's certainly a chance they give Hayes some run over the last week and a half of the season, though it may not be enough to make him a viable fantasy option. Hayes has boasted an improved three-point stroke in the G-League this season from his final collegiate campaign at Wisconsin and a few strong showings could go a long way in earning him a longer look for a roster spot next year. Hayes' contract reportedly contains an option for the 2018-19 season.

Nigel Hayes: Headed back to Westchester
Hayes will rejoin the G League's Westchester Knicks on Wednesday after his second 10-day contract with the Raptors expired and Toronto elected not to re-sign him, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
The addition of Hayes, who had been starting and playing effectively for Westchester before signing with Toronto earlier this month, should bolster the G League affiliate's chances of making a deep run in the postseason. Over 43 games in the G League this season, Hayes is averaging 15.0 points (on 44.2 percent shooting from the field), 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 three-pointers, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 34.0 minutes per contest.

Nigel Hayes: Second 10-day contract expires
Hayes' second 10-day contract has expired and he will not be retained by the Raptors, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
Since joining the Raptors at the start of March, Hayes ended up playing in just two games over multiple 10-day contracts and logged a total of six minutes. While he knocked down both his three-point attempts to finish 100 percent from the field during his stint with the Raptors, the team opted not to sign him for the rest of the season. With the 2017-18 campaign coming to a close in roughly two weeks, Hayes will likely look to sign either one more 10-day deal or latch on with a playoff team. That said, whether he finds a NBA suitor or not, he won't be a fantasy contributor.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Recalled from G-League
Hayes was recalled from the G-League's Raptors 905 and will be joining Toronto for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
Hayes was with the Raptors 905 for two games, averaging 11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per outing. He's unlikely to see much time on the court with Toronto unless injuries force him up the depth chart.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Assigned to G-League
Hayes has been assigned to the G-League's Raptors 905 and will join the squad for Saturday's contest against the South Bay Lakers.
Hayes recently secured a second 10-day deal with the Raptors, though has played just six total minutes for the team. So, in an effort to get a look at him, he's been assigned to the G-League to play some minutes there. In 39 G-League games this season, the Wisconsin product has averaged 15.9 points (including 2.4 threes at 43.6 percent) and 6.5 rebounds in 35.3 minutes.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Signing second 10-day contract with Raptors
Hayes will sign a second 10-day contract with the Raptors, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Hayes has seen just a combined 6 minutes of game-time for the Raptors over two games, so his signing is likely just to provide depth. He shouldn't be considered a viable fantasy option unless the Raptors are hit with a few injuries.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Assigned to G-League
Hayes has been assigned to the G-League's Raptors 905.
Hayes hasn't appeared in either of the three NBA games he's been eligible for since signing a 10-day contract with Toronto. So, it appears the organization will attempt to get him some significant run down in the G-League.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Won't be available Tuesday
Hayes will not be available for Tuesday's contest against the Hawks due to visa issues, Eric Koreen of The Athletic Toronto reports.
Hayes apparently couldn't get things sorted out quickly enough to play in Canada. He'll presumably be available for Wednesday's game at Detroit, however.

Nigel Hayes: Drops 35 points for Westchester
Hayes tallied a game-high 35 points (10-22 FG, 5-1 3Pt, 10-11 FT) and added six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 41 minutes for the G League's Westchester Knicks in Sunday's 110-105 victory over the Lakeland Magic.
Hayes fell just two points shy of matching his season- and career-high scoring total in G League play and continues to shoulder the offensive burden for Westchester. Since rejoining Westchester in late January following the expiration of his 10-day contract with the Lakers, Hayes has scored no fewer than 13 points in any of his eight outings with the team.

Raptors' Nigel Hayes: Signing 10-day deal with Raptors
Hayes will sign a 10-day contract with the Raptors, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Save for a cup of coffee with the Lakers in January, Hayes has spent the duration of the season with the Westchester Knicks, where he holds averages of 16.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.6 minutes per game. The former Wisconsin standout is unlikely to make much of an impact for a deep Raptors team, but he'll provide forward depth while OG Anunoby nurses an ankle injury.

Nigel Hayes: Drills seven treys for Westchester
Hayes tallied a game-high 27 points (10-20 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and added eight rebounds and two assists across 38 minutes for the G League's Westchester Knicks in their 110-107 victory over Raptors 905 on Saturday.
The seven treys were a career-best mark for Hayes, who has settled into a groove since rejoining Westchester after a brief cup of coffee in the NBA with the Lakers in January. The undrafted forward out of Wisconsin is now averaging 15.6 points (on 44.9 percent shooting from the field), 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 three-pointers, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.4 minutes per game over 37 outings (34 starts) with Westchester on the season.

The former Wisconsin forward was able to muster past the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season despite shooting 36.4 percent from the field. Hayes has nicely solidified himself in Westchester's offense, averaging a fine 15.3 points and 6.6 rebounds across 36 games played this season.

Hayes is currently averaging 15.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 35.2 minutes per game. Impressively, he has also increased his free-throw percentage from last year at Wisconsin from 58.7 percent to 75.4 percent with Westchester.
