  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Dominant in overtime win

Jokic recorded 29 points (9-16 FG, 11-13 FT), 18 rebounds, 16 assists and one block in 41 minutes during Tuesday's 144-139 overtime win over the Nets. Jokic set season highs in rebounds and assists Tuesday while recording his second triple-double in four outings to start the 2024-25 campaign. Jokic also coughed up just one turnover against Brooklyn. The reigning MVP is off to a blistering start this year, and Tuesday's stellar performance puts him in elite company -- Oscar Robertson is the only other player in NBA history to produce at least a 29-18-16 line in a game.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Continues torrid start to season

Jokic ended with 40 points (18-27 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal over 44 minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime victory over the Raptors. Jokic seems to have taken over any plan the Nuggets might have and is doing things by himself, controlling the flow of the offense and determining when to attack and feed his teammates. Fantasy managers will certainly appreciate the high usage rage, but Jokic has proven to be a player who can fill the stat sheet even without astronomically high usage. The numbers don't lie, and Jokic is averaging a monster line of 32.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game through his first three outings of the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: 41-point effort not enough

Jokic recorded 41 points (14-26 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block across 37 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to the Clippers. The Nuggets struggled with their shooting during the first half, and while Jokic took over in the second half, it wasn't enough to give Denver its first win of the season. The star big man made a career-high seven three-pointers in this game, and while the Nuggets are stumbling to start the season, Jokic's early-season numbers suggest fantasy managers will remain very happy with his overall contributions.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Records triple-double in opener

Jokic logged 16 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, one block and two steals over 35 minutes during Thursday's 102-87 loss to the Thunder. Jokic began the 2024-25 season in typical fashion, piecing together a triple-double despite the blowout loss. We should expect another battle for the lead in double-doubles and triple-doubles with Domantas Sabonis, who actually bested Jokic in both categories last season.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Will play vs. Minnesota

Jokic (rest) will be available for Thursday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports. Jokic didn't play in Tuesday's game against the Thunder, but the star big man will feature in Denver's preseason finale. With all the starters available, Jokic is highly likely to be part of the starting unit alongside Jamal Murray, Michael Porter, Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Sitting out against OKC

Jokic won't play in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Thunder for rest purposes, Nuggets writer Matt Brooks reports. Jokic hasn't suffered any injury but is sitting out Tuesday alongside Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook. Jokic's next chance to suit up is Thursday's preseason finale against Minnesota.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Logs 17 minutes in preseason opener

Jokic posted 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 17 minutes in Friday's 107-103 preseason loss to the Celtics. Head coach Mike Malone had already declared Jokic would have a reduced workload during Friday's preseason opener against the Celtics earlier in the week, so it wasn't surprising to see him log just 17 minutes. That said, it was more than enough to fill the stat sheet, and Jokic should remain one of the most productive players in the NBA, both in real life and fantasy, once the regular season begins later this month.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Set to play limited minutes

Coach Mike Malone said Jokic will have a reduced workload during Friday's preseason opener against the Celtics, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports. Malone mentions that he would like to give some playing time to everybody on the roster Friday, so expect Denver's starters to play limited minutes. Jokic will likely continue to receive limited minutes throughout the preseason. However, once the regular season rolls around, Jokic should return to his typical average of around 34 minutes per contest.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-double in Olympic win

Jokic tallied 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes in Saturday's 93-83 win by Serbia over Germany in the bronze medal game of the Paris Olympics. Jokic posted the fifth-ever Olympic triple-double as Serbia cruised past Germany. The three-time NBA MVP did it all for Serbia in its Olympic campaign, and he had game highs in points, rebounds and assists to secure the bronze medal. In six Olympic appearances, the 29-year-old averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks across 32.7 minutes per game.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Posts double-double in close loss

Jokic collected 17 points (7-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block in 38 minutes during Thursday's 95-91 semifinal loss to Team USA. Unsurprisingly, Jokic played all but two minutes in Thursday's semifinal game. Despite registering an impressive stat line while Serbia owned a 17-point lead at one point, Jokic's effort wasn't enough to hold off Team USA. Serbia is set to face Germany for the bronze medal.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Does it all for Serbia in win

Jokic posted 22 points (7-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-12 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one block across 27 minutes in Serbia's 96-85 win over South Sudan in the Paris Olympics on Saturday. Jokic produced a near double-double with 14 points and eight boards by the end of the first half alone. The three-time NBA MVP continued to dominate the entire contest with no one for South Sudan being able to stop him in the paint, and he was able to get to the charity stripe at will. The 29-year-old averaged 18.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.0 steals across 27.0 minutes in three group-phase matches.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Leads Serbia in Olympic loss

Jokic ended with 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and four steals across 31 minutes in Serbia's 110-84 loss to the United States in the Paris Olympics on Sunday. Jokic led Serbia in points, assists and steals in Sunday's loss to Team USA while displaying an impressive plus-minus of zero in the blowout loss. The superstar was spectacular in the squad's group-phase debut, but that did not stop a loss to the star-studded roster of the United States. The three-time NBA MVP will continue to serve as the No. 1 option for Serbia alongside Bogdan Bogdanovic, as the squad attempts to win out in the remainder of the group phase.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Can't carry Denver in Game 6

Jokic contributed 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes during Thursday's 115-70 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Jokic delivered one of the best performances of his playoff career in Game 5 of the series, but he was unable to repeat those numbers in this woeful loss despite a respectable stat line. Jokic shot under 50 percent from the field for the third time in the series, and the Nuggets have lost every time that has happened. While the entire Nuggets offense must perform better in a do-or-die Game 7 contest on Sunday, Jokic will be the one who sets the tone early on.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Masterful performance in win

Jokic supplied 40 points (15-22 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), seven rebounds, 13 assists, one block and two steals over 41 minutes during Tuesday's 112-97 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Jokic took over during Game 5, leading the Nuggets to a third consecutive victory over the Timberwolves. Despite going up against Rudy Gobert, the Defensive Player of the Year, Jokic had no issues getting what he wanted around the basket and finished with a playoff-high 40 points. The series will head back to Minnesota, where Jokic and the Nuggets will look to wrap things up Thursday.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Carries Denver to even series

Jokic ended Sunday's 115-107 win over the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 35 points (15-26 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals in 39 minutes. Aaron Gordon had an excellent showing and Jamal Murray made some clutch buckets throughout the game, but Jokic was the engine that kept the team going. For the second game in a row, he came through whenever Denver needed him the most. Jokic is expected to lead the Nuggets as the series returns to Denver for a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday, and he's averaging 26.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game in the series.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Nears triple-double in Game 3 win

Jokic notched 24 points (10-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists, three blocks and three steals over 38 minutes in Friday's 117-90 win over the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Jokic did a little bit of everything for Denver in a much-needed Game 3 win on the road, leading all players in Friday's contest in rebounds, assists and blocks while adding a team-high-tying trio of steals and concluding as one of three Nuggets with 20 or more points. Jokic, who ended one dime shy of a triple-double, tallied his second straight double-double and has posted at least 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in every game of the conference semifinals thus far. Jokic looked much more comfortable in Game 3 than we saw earlier in the series, which could be great news for Denver as it tries to even the series.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Nears triple-double in Game 2 loss

Jokic amassed 16 points (5-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 16 rebounds, eight assists and one block across 39 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Jokic can change a game by himself at any point of a contest and is dominant enough to carry Denver to victory on a regular basis, but he hasn't been able to do it in the first two games of the current series. The two-time MVP winner is averaging 27.0 points, 15.0 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game through seven playoff contests. While he remains an absolute stud in fantasy regardless of what happens with the Nuggets as a team, he needs his teammates to take a step forward to avoid an early exit in their quest to win back-to-back NBA titles.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Nears triple-double in Game 1 loss

Jokic notched 32 points (11-25 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists and three steals in 41 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 loss to Minnesota in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Jokic led all Nuggets players in scoring, rebounds and assists to go along with a team-high-tying trio of steals in a well-rounded performance that nearly resulted in a triple-double in Saturday's Game 1. Jokic struggled a bit from the field but still finished north of 30 points for the third time this postseason and concluded one assist and two boards shy of a triple-double. Jokic has a tough matchup against Minnesota's big men, so it will be key to keep an eye on how he is able to perform against a strong defense in the semifinals.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Posts monster stat line

Jokic produced 25 points (12-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 20 rebounds and nine assists across 41 minutes during Monday's 108-106 victory over the Lakers in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Jokic dominated on the boards and fell just one assist shy of a triple-double in Monday's series-clinching win. He continues to show why he's one of the most valuable big men in the league, as he averaged 28.2 points, 16.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.2 steals over five games in the opening round.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Massive triple-double not enough

Jokic closed Saturday's 119-108 loss to the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 33 points (10-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 14 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes. Jokic has two triple-doubles and two double-doubles in the current series against the Lakers, but unlike in the previous three contests, he was unable to carry Denver to victory following yet another slow start. Jokic's individual numbers have been amazing in the series, though, as he's averaging 29.0 points, 15.3 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game. He'll aim to lift the Nuggets to close the series out Monday in Game 5.
