  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Cleared to play Saturday

Randle (thumb) is available for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers. Randle has yet to miss a regular-season game during the 2025-26 campaign. That trend will continue Saturday, with the veteran forward being cleared to play against Cleveland after popping up on Friday's injury report due to left thumb soreness. In 18 games since Dec. 2, Randle has averaged 21.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.3 threes and 0.9 steals over 33.3 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Iffy for Saturday

Randle (thumb) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers. Randle is dealing with left thumb soreness and is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the season. If the star forward is ultimately ruled out, Naz Reid and Jaylen Clark are candidates for increased playing time. Randle has recorded three double-doubles over his last five games, during which he has averaged 21.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists across 31.4 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Teases triple-double in win

Randle logged 28 points (10-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists over 35 minutes during the Timberwolves' 131-122 win over the Cavaliers on Thursday. Randle was one of four Minnesota starters to score at least 20 points and finished as the team's second-leading rebounder behind Rudy Gobert (13). Randle posted his 12th double-double of the season Thursday (fifth over his last seven outings), and he was two dimes shy from recording this third triple-double of the regular season. Through the first four games of January, he has averaged 22.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 threes over 31.5 minutes per game.

Randle recorded his 11th double-double of the campaign as the Timberwolves improved to 24-13 on the season. Randle is in the midst of a hot stretch, posting averages of 20.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 three-pointers in 32.0 minutes over his last seven games.

The double-double was his 10th of the season, including three in the last four games -- although the other two involved assists and not rebounds. Since the beginning of December, Randle is averaging 21.4 points, 6.5 boards, 5.5 assists, 1.3 threes and 1.1 steals over 15 contests.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Dishes out season high 14 assists

Randle supplied 17 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, 14 assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Monday's 136-101 victory over the Bulls. Randle has now posted double-digit assists in back-to-back games and has five such performances this season, handing out a season-high 14 assists in Monday night's win, the second-most in a game of his career. Most impressively, the 31-year-old forward accomplished this without committing a turnover, making it the only game this season with that many assists and zero turnovers. Across 13 games in December, he's averaging 21.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.2 steals over 34 minutes per game.

Randle closed Thursday's 142-138 overtime loss to the Nuggets with 32 points (12-22 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals over 39 minutes. Randle ranked second on the team in scoring and contributed a few defensive actions during the overtime defeat. He scored more than 30 points for the fifth time in 31 games played this season. On the year, he's now averaging 22.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Late surge in win

Randle closed with 25 points (10-20 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 115-104 victory over the Knicks. Randle was a key late-game contributor, scoring 17 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to help lift the Timberwolves to a win. Despite failing to connect from three-point range, it marked an encouraging efficiency outing for the power forward after he shot just 37.9 percent from the field over his previous four games. Randle will look to build on that performance in Thursday's Christmas matchup against the Nuggets.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Makes key free throws in win

Randle provided 19 points (3-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 12-16 FT), eight rebounds and five assists across 32 minutes during Friday's 112-107 victory over the Thunder. Randle's work at the charity stripe was a difference-maker, although one key miss made Anthony Edwards work a little harder for the go-ahead shot. The frontcourt defense of Randle and Rudy Gobert proved to be effective against Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein, who combined for only 15 points in the loss. Randle is on an excellent five-game tear, averaging 22.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists over the span.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Hits for 21 in Wednesday's loss

Randle racked up 21 points (9-21 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies. The veteran forward scored more than 20 points for a sixth straight game while tying his season high in steals, a mark he's reached three times in the last 10 contests. During his six-game scoring surge, Randle is averaging 24.2 points, 6.5 boards, 4.8 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.0 steals.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Leads Minnesota to victory

Randle finished with 24 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's 117-103 victory over Sacramento. Randle has taken over the role of being the Timberwolves' primary option on offense due to the absence of Anthony Edwards (foot), and the veteran forward has stepped up to the challenge. Randle has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, averaging 24.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 0.6 steals per game while shooting 39.1 percent from three in that span.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Sniffs double-double in loss

Randle amassed 21 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight assists and three rebounds over 37 minutes during Monday's 108-105 loss to the Suns. Randle put up a season-low 11 field-goal attempts but still finished as Minnesota's second-leading scorer. The star forward has been efficient of late, scoring 21 or more points in four of his last five games while shooting 50.7 percent from the field over that stretch. He also recorded a game-high eight assists and has dished out at least six in four of his last five appearances.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Strikes for 24 against Clippers

Randle contributed 24 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 11-12 FT), three rebounds and six assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 109-106 win over the Clippers. The veteran forward has scored in double digits in every game this season, but he's cooled down a bit since a strong beginning to 2025-26. Over his last 13 games, Randle's shooting just 44.9 percent from the floor while averaging 21.2 points, 7.4 boards, 5.7 assists, 1.5 threes and 0.9 steals, and he's reached 30 points only once -- a mark he hit four times in his first eight contests.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Nets 28 points with nine boards

Randle logged 28 points (9-18 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), nine rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes during Thursday's 125-116 victory over the Pelicans. Randle had just eight points in regulation during Tuesday's overtime win over the Pelicans, but he was much more aggressive in Thursday's rematch, dropping in 10 points in the first quarter of play. Randle also saw some more shots falling his way with Anthony Edwards getting into some early foul trouble, and he bounced back from three-point range after missing all three of his trey-balls his last time out.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Double-double in win over Spurs

Randle closed with 22 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 125-112 win over San Antonio. The double-double was the sixth of the season for Randle, but his first that involved assists and not rebounds. The veteran forward puts a solid November in the books, having averaged 21.8 points, 7.9 boards, 6.2 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.1 steals over 15 games.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Struggles in loss to Thunder

Randle contributed 10 points (2-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-7 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 113-105 loss to Oklahoma City. Randle couldn't get anything going against Oklahoma City's elite defense, but he wasn't the only Minnesota player who struggled. The Wolves missed 15 free throws in the eight-point loss and went 1-for-7 from the floor over the final three minutes of the game while committing three turnovers. Randle was responsible for one of those turnovers, failing to inbound the ball with Minnesota down by five and 26.8 seconds left in regulation, and this was the third time in his past six outings against the Thunder that Randle was held to two or fewer made field goals.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Logs third double-double in OT loss

Randle finished Monday's 117-112 overtime loss to the Kings with 17 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and five assists over 39 minutes. The Timberwolves fought hard to keep up at the baseline, but standout nights from DeMar DeRozan and Keegan Murray proved to be a tough test for Randle and Rudy Gobert. Despite another late collapse by Minnesota's defense, Randle is playing at an extremely high level. Along with three double-doubles, Randle also has two triple-doubles to his credit.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Double-doubles in win

Randle popped off for 32 points (11-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-13 FT), 10 rebounds and six assists across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 120-109 win over the Wizards. Randle was held to a season-low 12 points on 4-for-16 shooting his last time out, so it was nice to see him bounce back in a big way Wednesday evening. This was Randle's fourth double-double of the season and the Timberwolves' second straight win. Minnesota has not lost a game this season when Randle has notched a double-double.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Well-rounded performance in loss

Randle logged 26 points (9-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight assists, six rebounds and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 123-112 loss to Denver. Randle delivered another productive performance Saturday, stuffing the stat sheet in the loss. However, the 30-year-old struggled from three-point range once again and has shot just 28.6 percent from downtown in his last five games. Still, he led the Timberwolves in assists and matched the team lead in points. The star forward also tallied multiple steals for the second time in his last three games.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Posts double-double Friday

Randle totaled 26 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 124-110 victory over the Kings. Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves with a 30-point performance, but Randle had an excellent game as well with a double-double -- his first of the season. Points and rebounds aside, Randle also notched at least five dimes for the fourth time in his last six games. The star forward has been an excellent complement for Edwards on offense and should remain a valuable fantasy option in all formats due to his strong start to the season. He has scored at least 20 points in eight of his 12 regular-season contests to date while adding at least seven rebounds in eight outings as well.
